AC Protect Detha and traps -
if u ask me the monks are the most OP. But with any encounter of this size its best to mob em and aoe em to death. Guardian GS 5 is a good way as is LOSing them behind a pillar or two.
I’ve had runs where it was cake and I had runs where it was a wreck. Usually a wreck:P. It’s hard do run when rangers are setting spike traps and ele’s doing the power.
What kept happening was they ALL went for one person in the party. 8 vs. 1, you’ll lose that battle 10/10 times. Then they go to the next, then the next, until you have to WP back. Yeah we eventually finished, but we only took out one person each time we got wiped out. Then we finally narrowed it down to 3-4 and got them all at once.
If you know the order to fight them in and your party can focus fire, they are little issue. Monk > Necromancer > Elementalist > Ranger > others. Focus them down and the numbers don’t matter.
Main: Caeimhe – Sylvari Ranger
Alts: Charr Guardian, Asura Elementalist, Human Thief, Norn Necromancer
The mortar-building fight does seem a bit harder after the patch. I could just be imagining things, but it used to go really smoothly. Now since the patch I haven’t had a run without at least one wipe or near-wipe (though it did lead to a hilarious benny-hill moment with the guardian kiting 6 mobs around the back of the room while the rest of the party rezzed)
The spawns are bugged in such a way that you can end up fighting two spawns at once, and yes it’s very very difficult. A few workarounds are discussed in this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/AC-Ghost-Eater-ridiculous-spawns/first#post1323271

I kind of figured that I was going against two spawns at the same time. There’s just no way you could finish that cleanly. If it was on purpose, then it’s the most pointless fight ever.
