AC Structure Damage
Melee weapons. Just make sure you’re moving around while autoattacking and you’ll be able to hit the burrow, or use AOEs.
Not sure about rangers but the best way to kill burrows is use as much as possible AoE skills. Elementalist has probably the best AoE skills for burrows. (frost bow, fiery greatsword, meteor shower)
Still reading this? You know there is something better to be done for sure. -.-’’
Well, we did try aoe but to no avail.
Traps traps traps and more traps, plus a sword with torch or horn. Torch has an AoE fire field and the horn bird call attack works on burrows if my memory serves.
Here is how I run it with my guildies…works EVERY time and both harvesters always stay up. For this strategy you will need 2 elementalists with ice bow:
1) Have each elementalist spawn an ice bow and partner with someone, you should have 2 groups of 2 ice archers.
2) The left-over fellow can kite the mobs that get close to the harvesters, it only takes a few hits before you aggro all the lizards off of the harvesters.
3) Each ice bow group takes turns taking out each burrow using the 4 ability (should be the AOE attack). It only takes 2 shots from that attack to kill a burrow. In this way you can have a burrow done 2 secs after it spawns.
tips:
-you might have to fail the first few times to get the order of the burrows correctly
-helps to do it as a guild with VOIP
In addition to the above tips, use Direct damage instead of Condition damage. This would be one of those times where having a Power-less set doesn’t make sense (eg. Rabid sets)— that means equip a set with at least some Power on it.

If you have 2 elementalists you might as well just sit back and enjoy the fireworks.
meteor shower + lava font kills burrow 1 and 2 (have them going for different burrows)
frost bow 4 + lava font kills burrows 3 and 4
assuming someone picked them up, the other frost bow 4’s deal with the last burrows, or the ele’s can just throw down lava fonts and auto attacks until they collapse. (or if they feel like burning the elite, ive heard fiery greatsword does wonders)
No teamwork required besides keeping your elementalists and hodgins alive until the event ends.
Grenade engi and staff eles have the best object-damage atm. Warriors are doing fine, guardians too – with gs and axes. Other than that, eles in your pt should pop you some summoned weapons.
Necros are absolutely terrible against burrows. Rangers can use gs, but still are so-so.
Tip: power build.

seriously, you were done at “two elementalists.”
i hate this path, because i think it really discriminates against mesmers, necros, and anyone based hard on condition damage or team support (unless it happens to be might based team support), and elementalists can make it basically trivial (you really only need one good one). that said, i think that the gravelings can be kited much longer than most people realize if EVERYONE flies full kite/control on cue when one goes down.
what you CAN contribute to is the death of graveling breeders. some people i ran with are under the impression they disappear when their burrow goes down. this is untrue, and they’re basically more burrows. so if you’re slowing your team down long enough that breeders are spawning you can help them catch up by dropping them with conditions. and again, if one of them goes down, fly full kite. take traps, probably. don’t play ranger, but i imagine you can do that pretty well.
