AC cheese the spider queen
Cool story.
I don’t know if “cheesed” means easier, harder, or something entirely different. Personally I find the spider queen MUCH easier now, much like most of the changes to AC.
Probably just some new bug to kill her without trouble.

I think I know the cheese you are referring to. Will reporting this really do anything? And yes, I agree it’s ridiculous the lengths people will go to to get the prize at the end with minimal effort. It’s like they have no sense of pride or accomplishment.
Just going to post this before a poo storm ensues. Holding other people to YOUR standards is unrealistic and is only going to end in disappointment.

Then make a third dungeon difficulty level, ala Diablo II-esc wise. New challenges, elite armor artworks, achieves, the whole deal. Overtuning current content just makes things unnecessarily harder, in a ‘cheese’ way, rather than in a refreshing way.

It’s always worthwhile to report things, in my humble opinion.
And agree on the second point. How in the blue blazes is it that the cultures of gear treadmills have more respect for skill than a game with actual skill-based combat? That’s so ironic I think somebody with proper comedic timing could have turned that last sentence into a really funny joke.

Any hit in this mode should be an instant death. Death would mean a complete character slot wipe (you not only lose your character, but your character slot as well).
I personally am appalled by dungeon cheese. You never know how long it’s been there.

If people are ‘cheesing’ content, it’s because they don’t want the level of difficulty the game is providing. It’s either too hard/time consuming/repetitive after the 100th time to bother doing it the preferred way.
I honestly don’t blame them. Some parts of AC got a lot better with the remake, others are tenfold worse. Staying at range with the spider queen makes her fairly easy (read: not worth exploiting) though.

I kinda don’t see anything wrong in doing bosses in “easy-mode” after you did them like dozen of times. All this “difficulty” gets old really fast and dissolves into routine.
You say that like Anet is holding you at gunpoint.
You don’t get a free pass to do whatever you want because you made the game into a soulless grind. That’s on your own head.
