AC path 2 (Detha’s Path) not fixed
All i know is she only bugs when we skip the gravelings north of Kholer’s WP and skip the oozes, and she never bugs when we kill both groups. So I think I will keep killing them even though it annoys some puggers. Sorry! :P
I try and tell people not to skip that part and they usually yell “If you just run past them and don’t aggro, then she won’t bug” to which I can only answer, ‘And if someone accidentally aggroes?..’
Basically, it doesn’t pay to skip that part. If she doesn’t bug? Great. If she does, you can be spending another 10+ min trying to train mobs on her to kill her before having to go take out the trash mobs anyway before rezzing. Why run the risk of a dinky 5min fight with some gravelings/slimes that half take each other out being stretched to 15mins of fiddling with aggro?
If you know it bugs, just stop skipping there. Cry about it all you want, but it’s hard to sympathize when the same people will exploit any other cheats like 2-in-1 paths then whine about it when it gets fixed.

Sorry to interrupt your righteous attack on those evil puggers, but I’ve seen Detha bug after killing everything in the dungeon.
Some people on their high horse…
Fact: it is a bug, nothing else!
If you call skipping one group of mobs “speedrunning” and “exploiting”, then i really think you should stop right there.
Also what the guy above me said, had her bug out with killing everything and also with skipping some of the mobs.
If you do AC not in your 80s, the last encounter can take a while, so why not let us skip, if we so desire?
Who are you to tell me how i should run this path, or in fact, any path?

Sorry I don’t mean to offend people that like to skip parts, I skip stuff myself sometimes. But I have been yelled at for trying to clear those parts because in my experience that’s when she doesn’t bug. Anyway, dang! After so many times she’s bugged for me I think I will skip that path for a while.

It’s not just a matter of “letting”; the dungeon is designed to let players skip certain bosses (ex., Kholer – although I find him one of the few interesting bosses in GW2 dungeons, so I rarely skip him), make bosses fight each other (ex., Kholer vs. cave troll), and make mobs fight each other (ex., gravelings vs. oozes).
All this was clearly intended (if it wasn’t, they wouldn’t attack each other), and is what makes AC one of the more interesting dungeons in GW2.
Detha’s bug is just that, a bug. The event objective is “Escort Detha to the Hall of Champions”, and the next part should trigger when players do that, regardless of which gravelings or oozes they killed, which ones killed each other, which ones are still alive, or what Detha had for breakfast.
You can still skip the mobs by running to the far right after you enter chamber making sure to avoid the orange circle to start next part of dungeon. This ensures she is out of combat. Works every time for me.
If you have her glitched then pull something into the room to kill her.
try not triggering any events or cutscenes when still in combat from skipping stuff, especially the mortars.
Thanks for the above tips, Ayrilana and Rainzar. Will try these later!

This is exactly what my group did, and she still bugged. We also noticed that there was a bug in the trap area where Detha’s indicator had a permanent 0 health during the graveling rush even though she was still alive.
Finally it has been fixed… oh wait.
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
*wipes tear from eye *
RIP Lord Robert Hrouda, keeper of fly traps – The last bastion (PBUH)
You will be remembered. Every bugged dungeon. Every single one.
It was so much easier to give a kitten about this game back when the developers did, too.
I fanboy’d a bit on the inside when I saw a Hrouda post…
