Has anyone had a similar problem?

I recently got the AC shortbow as a reward, but id doesn’t seem to be glowing at night!

To the left is my buddy with an AC sword, which is glowing (He also has an axe and a rifle, both which glow) but my shortbow is just blue, no glow-y effects at all.

Why is this =(.

did you have it equipped during the transition from day to night?

Nope. This screenshot was taken at Gendarran fields which was night when I stepped out from LA.

Ah that’s your problem then most likely. It needs to be there for the transition in many cases.

But the sword doesn’t? That’s strange.

Both bows seem to be acting in a strange way. For instance, I have the Ghastly Longbow and when its sheathed on my back it will continue to glow and show off its particle effect constantly (as long as it’s night). The moment I unsheathe my bow and enter combat however, the glow/particle effect ceases and I’m just left with a blue bow.

Only fix so far I’ve seen is to manually unequip and reequip the bow to get the particle effects going again.

both bows are buggy, exactly what above poster said. Hope Anet fixes it, would like to see my ranger friend happy also

I have same problem, anyone know if this is being looked at? The glow graphic was why I purchased this item.
