Q:

I finished making 2 infused rings, but each ring is at +5 AR. The rings show two slots for AR infusions, but every time I add a versatile simple infusion, it automatically replaces the infusion in the first slot while ignoring the second slot.

I purchased each ring using 10 pristine fractal relics and I did not add infusions to the rings before upgrading them in the forge; would this be the cause of the issue? I’ve crafted infused rings with +10AR per ring in the past and never had this issue.

Any help would be appreciated because I’m having trouble finding a solution.

Golden shackles are still golden.

You’re supposed to use these: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Agony_Infusion in the infused slots, not Versatile infusions.

Thank you – I had infused the other rings before the addition of traded infusions so the extra +5 AR on my old rings was converted over to the newer infusion format. That makes sense!

Do not ever put any upgrades into, or apply any skins, if you intend to upgrade an item through the mystic forge. You’ll get an entirely new item and lose whatever was on the old item.
