About the Graveling Burrows in Ascalon Catacombs...
This has been discussed. Yes there is something wrong with it. Yes its being looked at. Temporary solution – move around while you are attacking and you will hit.

No they are not working as intended. They are a big point of contention to me, and are high o the list of things to fix. We’re working on a solution to them as we speak, so hopefully soon that and other general gadget problems will be fixed.
I am glad that a general fix is coming!
Just as a note, though, I’d argue that the Volatile Blossom hit boxes in TA are far more significant an issue than the Graveling Burrows in AC. Those blossoms are utterly untouchable by some classes at range (Rifles can’t hit them, for instance) and can annihilate whole teams with ease. I think they deserve primary focus over the burrows if you’re handling them individually. If they’ll all get handled together, though, then no problem. Thanks for the update either way.

Well, I can imagine myself missing some shots, these flowers are really thin while the burrows are bigger than myself! Jokes apart, I do it fine with my shortbow with these and haven’t seen people complaining. But I can say in general that a lot of static targets need some hitbox tuning..
Hopefully the fix will apply to all open world gadgets as well, as there are many that require you to constantly move around to be hit.

Necro Staff 1 doesn’t work on the blossoms consistantly. You get a lot of “obstructed”. Scepter and Axe work quite well, but the damage on both of these weapons means you need to hit each one twice (at least) to take it out, and becuase you can’t stack conditions (like bleeds) on these things it’s a major PITA!
Thief shortbow is great because you can literally take out 3 at once.
