About the quickness nerf...
same. the only one close is slave driver and 1 encournter = nerf everythin?!?
quickness was OP everywhere from pve to pvp. I’m glad they nerfed it.

quickness wasn’t. timewarp was. when I first heard of time warp, I knew it was an elite (so it should be better than most utility skills), so I guessed it would last maybe 4-5 seconds. NOPE. much better than that.
personally, I would prefer twice as long at 1/2 the effect to how it was. instead, they just dropped it to 1/2 the effect :P so now TW is normalized, but all other quickness skills last half as long as they should.

You forget TW has a 210s CD with no way of reducing the CD whatsover. And how was TW overpowered? Can you quote specifically which encounter TW trivialized, apart for COF P1? Taking a slightly shorter time to kill a boss is not the same thing as “trivializing”.

It would be cool if they increase the duration of non-TW skills, but i don’t feel so awesome with a 10 sec frenzy :P
TW made a tiny portion of average clear. I think the only encounter affected by the haste nerf is Simin. Most bosses in this game have obscene amounts of HP anyways so a 10 sec quickness on a 210 sec cd hardly made or broke the fight.

The haste nerf is quite frankly collateral damage from spvp/wvw related problems where burst like that actually gets people gibbed.

Everyone who saw the 1:24 minute kill knew it was feedback (coupled with 3 frenzy warriors) that made the speedkill, not TW.
Quickness I believe was more of a pvp fix (I say fix because it was too strong), while not affecting pve at all. As anet has stated, though they can nerf pvp/pve only and separate abilities, they rather not, which I agree with.
