Absolute fastest min max'd team
What is it? For each dungeon? I know a few are probably similar or exactly the same comps, but what is THE fastest possible team assuming perfect rotations and synergy with no errors. I’m mainly curious about cof, ac, ta, and manor
What your asking for isn’t really something that can be put down if you want information like that you need a leader board for things like that and I for one have no idea if there is anything like that.
Are you asking for team composition for max damage or just complete the dungeon as fast as possible?
Well wouldn’t the most damage possible be the fastest completion time as well?
Sometimes it is worthwhile to sacrifice damage to make other parts easier, i.e. using a thief to skip stuff in Arah quickly and safely.
Ehhh.
Well, there’s certainly popular builds. But, that’s not what you asked, exactly.
I’m not sure you can find a solid answer to that? If you buzzed youtube you can find people posting for bragging rites here and there. We’ve got maybe one or two guilds giving the whole min/max thing a solid effort. But, beyond that, most people just don’t really seem all that inclined to participate. And a min/max culture without that whole competitive king of the mountain dynamic just doesn’t cover the same kind of ground.
So, you’re not going to find an Elitist Jerks equivalent here. This culture is just sort of,…going-through-the-motions?

Stack as many eles as the instance allows.
Game over, yo.
You could use gwscr as a reference. Not many records have been updated since the april 15th patch yet. But you can still check the all time records and the forums.
The only correct answer is 5 warriors.
Any other answer is either a troll or wrong.
Absolute fastest is something we’ll probably never find out, there’s always little things you can speed up by changing up your team comp/tactics. In GW1 they are now getting close to maximum speed and that game has been out for like 8 years (although there were meta resets ofcourse, like in gw2). http://www.gwscr.com is your best bet for now, it shows the currently fastest times ever achieved for dungeons/fractals/other records (solo’s and stuff).

The CMp2 record is a good example for your question.
Maybe a 5 ele group or 4 ele 1 warr would be the best option damage wise, but a thief and especially the mesmer makes the run so much faster, it’s not even funny.

But as others said, stack as many eles as you can, fill up other spots for various stuff (thieves for skipping, mesmer for portals and reflects, guardians for defense etc).
The more eles the better. FGS makes this game too hard!
I hear words on the street is 2 eles, 1 warrior, 1 thief, 1 ranger. Or 3 eles + 2 of the latter 3 options.

Highest dps would be 3 eles, 1 war and 1 ranger. But if you decide you need more frostbows/fgs’s for encounters then you could replace the warrior and ranger for more eles so you have higher dps throughout the run (perma frostbow/fgs). But for a single encounter 3 eles, 1 war and 1 ranger is the highest dps.
Obviously as others have said sometimes utility is more important to speed a path up. Which is why some dungeons its much faster to take a thief or mesmer.
Builds and tactics are not mutually exclusive. Great builds need great tactics, otherwise you still have an average run.
Generally if you’re making a thread like this, you probably don’t have great tactics.

Well I understand the thiefies for skips and what not. We have been running with 2 or 3 wars, 1 guard, 1 mes, 1 thief if needed for skips. We are around 6-7 minutes on Manor paths 1-2, around 6 minutes for TA up path, around 7-8 minutes for CoF, and CoE is around 14 minutes p1 and 12 minutes p3. So I was just curious if you guys were coming up with better comps or anything.
No eles? I’m sorry.
And all who stood by and did nothing, who are they to criticize the sacrifices of others?
Our blood has bought their lives.
Look, hun, his time is almost twice as long as that with the team comp stacking ele. It’s your lesson of the day.
I’ve heard Frostgorge Sound (FGS) is an endgame map. Of course, it IS hard for us leechitist. Imagine the pain when you have to run for your life to cross it to Fireheart’s Rise.
Vocabulary: leechitist = leeching elitist, who exploits all his connections, such as friends and guildmates, to get a spot in a dungeon or a fractal run with a sole purpose of getting the end rewards with a bare minimum participation and/or effort. The common practice is to power-leveling alts with dungeon end rewards.
