“A Reward Track is a set of rewards that you earn by playing PvP. Each track has rewards at certain intervals: some that you can earn in a just couple of matches, bigger rewards that you can earn in a play session, and a really sweet end prize that you can earn in a few play sessions.

Examples of rewards you can look forward to include various levels of loot boxes, crafting materials, Transmutation Charges, weapons, armor, skill points and more. In our December PvP rewards blogpost, we hinted at a new system in PvP that will allow you to set your own reward goals to work toward.

There is also a rotating schedule of dungeon Reward Tracks that will allow you to play PvP to earn rewards from specific dungeons. Every two weeks, a different dungeon Reward Track will become available to players. These award weapons, armor, and dungeon tokens among other things."

There’s nothing unique left in this game. Sure, you could earn dungeon skins in pvp before, but they stayed in pvp and they denoted dedication to pvp. Now, You can earn dungeon skins in pvp to use in pve too.

There are no more skins that show “I like this part of the game” or “This is what I’ve done / accomplished, specifically.” Nothing is special / specialized anymore. Sigh.

What do you guys think?

I don’t care, because I got my dungeon gear how I did and I don’t care what anyone thinks about my gears. They can get their armors in PvP. I don’t mind. It has literally zero effect on me.

Dungeon selling took away any prestige those armors might have ever had. Not that I care since I sell them also.

The only Dungeon gear that had some prestige is Arah. And 1.5 year after the launch, any people with a minimum of effort can make that Armor. With the guides that you can find on the internet, people that can show you the different path, and all. Any decent guild can form a 5 man party and learn how to complete Arah in a relatively short period of time.

Thing is buyers will now do pvp hotjoin instead of buying arah now.

I solo it on warrior or ele. Dont have time to spend all day on necro. :/

I did ta up once solo on ele, ended up giving the 4 slots away over the lfg for free ^^.

All of this becomes a thing of the past now. If you paid attention to PvP locker retirement and where they urged players to fill their PvP lockers and even offered all cultural/dungeons for glory/gold this was obviously on the horizon.

You can still sell me story dungeons any time guys!!

Well i hope fractal skins, teq sword as well as wurm armor and riffle will stay PvE exclusive.

This just makes me sad. I feel that people, and in turn developers, will ignore dungeons even more now that people don’t NEED to run them to get the tokens for legendary/armor. Oh well.

Inb4 Nave of Arah becomes the only working wp in all four paths.

My guess is that most PvEers who want dungeon armor would rather buy runs from sellers than sPvP.

I’d agree, but given that I have so many Arah pieces in pvp without even pvping, I think there very well could be a drop off of people buying runs.

Moreover, as wardrobe allows for infinite reuse of skins, people will only want to unlock the 3 armor types and be done with it.

Arah P4 will still be worth buying for the prestigious Dungeon Master title. So will be ac p1 for leveling alts.

Eh, I’m with Lilith. I don’t really care. What others wear as their armor makes no difference to me. As long as they like looking at their own character, that’s what’s important.

Even if I was the kind of player to care about “prestige”, dungeon armor lost all prestige the moment dungeon runs became a thing anyway.

I personally think there should be more of a barrier, say like Story Mode + 1 Explorable Path, but that’s me. Overall, this doesn’t really bug me. Arah looks itself have been becoming less and less prestigious. There was shard farming, the countless exploits, and also path selling.

Well lets see it the bright side… less money for run vendor… less runs and at least the dude that aquired arah armor in pvp did aquire it after a huge time of works.

like I already said, I don’t pvp, and yet I have a full set of heavy arah armor in pvp. i literally have gone twice. Try using your brain a bit and reading the whole thread.

thats because of achievement box and you aint sure to have it fully

Players who almost only pvp don’t really have the gold to buy dungeon paths, lol. Have you seen the silver rewards from TPVP soloq and teamq. There’s even a daily limit after which even if you do more TPVP matches you can’t gain more gold (but even so you’d have to spam quite a friggin’ lot to even think of reaching the cap. I’m not even sure if it’s humanely possible unless you share the account with someone else which is something that can result in an account ban)
