Welp time to dust off the guardian and play it ;D
I am out of the town so I cant test it. I was think8ng that now the classes with top dps are the ones with an strong aa.
I havent touched my warrior axe on ages but do you think a dps war camping axe would be up there aswell? Thinking as a thief sustitute not as a PS role, ofc.
Axe camping is 10k less dps than Thief, Dual Wielding not stacking with Quickness doesn’t help it either.
Oh I thought it may have. Nothing then.
Cool, thief back in 2nd place in DPS, where it should have been the entire time.
Welp time to dust off the guardian and play it ;D
Only viable for stationary bosses right? Prolly better to go GS/Bow for moving bosses.

Yup but Guardian only is 1k behind and can provide CC, Aegis and perma protection.
I’d say viable for every raidboss because they dont move very fast and perma protection is very powerfull as well.

Maybe ok for Gors too since he don’t move much. What do other people think?
Man I can’t even get close to those numbers. I’ve watched the video like 10 times and I can’t figure out why. My ele is consistently at 18-19k dps on Sabetha, the only difference in buffs is that we don’t have a druid and we have a rev instead. This guy’s dps hits 28k in the first 0.5s of the fight. When I start sabetha my dps starts around 6k and climbs up. I wonder if it is a meter problem. I noticed he had time stamps running, maybe that’s my problem.

Time stamps have nothing to do with it as seen here
Druid buff is 35% flat damage and the extra precision adds up at ~40%.
Check your food too, we used seaweed salad on Ele’s.
Basically just recheck your buffs.

I didn’t realize druid was such a big buff. 40% would bring me up to 26.5k which is well within the difference of skill that I can imagine.
wait what? 35%? how?
15% Grace of the land, 10% glyph of empowerement, about 7% from frost spirit (10% in 75% of hits = 3/4 = 0.66), and spotter are unique druid buffs that help increasing your dps. Extremly good in a perfect situation, but cooldowns lower your buffing abilities by a lot
I’d say 35% is a really inflated number when assuming permanent buffs. From what I’ve tested it’s closer to 22-25%, still crazy high and slightly a head of warrior buffs if we disregard might.
An optimally set up ele should benefit 1.97% in terms of EP from Spotter.
This is not meant as a counter argument to der(p)y, just wanted to clarify statements about buffs.
