Advice for an Arah newb
Path 3 is probably the easiest to pug, however, the infamous Lupi boss is in all paths. What class are you planning to take in there?
So I’ve done every path in every other dungeon except for Arah (and two paths of CM but that’s just because I don’t really have any interest in it right now) and I would like to give it a try soon. The things is, is that I’m kind of nervous I guess because my newbyness. I’m wondering which path(s) would be the best for a first attempt and what to keep in mind whilst doing them. I’d prefer to not have to look up guides or videos simply for spoiler reasons (unless I ABSOLUTELY have to). I’m thinking I’d stick to one path for a while and get a good feel for things before moving to the others.
Path 3 is the easiest. Pugging Arah is a nightmare, though. I’d try to look for a group of experienced players that’ll take you through. Check out this thread https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Arah-Vets-grouping-together-to-do-Arah-Runs/first
Also if you do end up wanting to look at a guide, I recommend this site: http://gw2dungeons.net/
Good luck!
Path 3 is the easiest but it is hard to find a group. If you pug it you run the risk of getting stuck at Lupicus because the group wipes repeatedly. Still its an awesome dungeon and worth trying for the fun factor. Oh and one last comment…. I know you mentioned you didn’t want to watch video’s for Arah but in this case your better off watching the Lupicus fight. Otherwise you’ll be totally lost.

Most likely my Mesmer as I have to most experience with him and he has the best equipment, though I do have a Warrior, Ele, Thief, and Necro.
I recently went through P1-3 again (also tried 4 but person who open the path ragequit) after 6-7 months, I found Path 1 to be the easiest, I think the hardest part was the trash runs. It could also be because Lupi in that fight went a lot smoother.
you can always buy a pat, i sell at like seven hours before reset.

1 has easy boss fights but the trash runs will murder inexperienced players.

With a guild group that doesn’t mind (partial) trash clears on new paths, would folks still recommend P1 and taking it slow and steady? I’m sure it’ll take us ages regardless, and we’ll wipe often enough to justify clearing.
P1 trash is not meant to be cleared. Goodluck if you do decide to try and clear the oozes though. :P
Like other have said, P3 is easiest. I recommend you to have someone experience and patient to talk you thru everything. And make sure you have some way to skip mobs because Arah is all about skipping. Those risens ain’t kidding around.
