I have a feeling that you’re run-of-the-mill Berserker’s set won’t suffice in Aether as a warrior. Or maybe it would? If not, what kind of set do you think would be a good idea to take in there if I’ve never done it and I’d be learning the dungeon with someone that has run it several times.

Ermagerd shield, that’s so bad in dungeons, why would you ever need a shield?

Because I do aether daily and it amuses me how always warriors die due to the spinning attack if they have aggro. I don’t play warrior often, but I think gs3 + 2 dodges should be inuf to survive it. He casts it too often though, so the 3 sec block would be nice I guess (sword block would be interrupted because it’s not such attack like lupi’s frienzed blast :<)

As a mesmer, I just use dodge+blurred frenzy so it’s a faceroll xD

I guess Endure Pain would be a nice alternative. I’d need to see that attack that you speak of though. I’ve yet to run it. Plan to tonight hopefully. I was just wondering if some PVT would make sense.

Since you’ve never done it, play with whatever you feel comfortable with. Once you get the hang of it, feel free to switch survivability for more damages.
