Thieves are one of the easiest classes to solo dungeons on.
Pistol whip is your heaven against bosses. Add smoke shot thing against mobs and there you go: you solo

Black Powder
And yeah, Invigorating precision + Pistol Whip lets you face tank quite a bit
I have seen PW used to great effect but my question is how to actually run the dungeon and which paths?

On another note, am I chasing the wrong dudgeon to sell in AC? Is there a dungeon which is easier/more profitable/legit/anything else?

Arah is the most popular to sell in my experience, as it isn’t too hard solo but gives inexperienced full groups trouble.

Are there any noob-friendly guides out there for those that want to learn?

Go for CM, quite easy to solo as a thief and there is no selling market there.

For the most part, you don’t need an actual guide though. Go to gw2dungeons.net, check out the skills mobs have, then watch solo videos of someone on your class to see how people handle things. Or just jump right in after you’ve read up on the mechanics.
if you go to Arah watch the Brazil Lupi guide, omg is it nice. That’s like half the challenge right there (well actually at this point I find Magecrusher and Alphard harder).
CM and a lot of easier dungeons are pretty strait forward and easy with Invigorating Precision and Pistol Whip, you can face tank a lot, with maybe a little bit of better play avoiding stuff.
