Any Fractals fixes this patch?
Does fixing completion for level 50 mean people will also get reward chests for doing level 50? (Granted, I haven’t experienced this myself but I have heard from other players that the daily chest doesn’t pop for some people completing level 50)
This was in the patch notes at least.
They fixed the L50 reward chest in this patch, actually. As to the other things, there were no mentions of them in the patch notes, but who knows.
If anybody happens to get the Molten boss fractal and still hasn’t gotten the Shockwave Skipper achievement, please post here if it’s been fixed!
Do you know if they fixed the clown car absorbing hits? Between fixing that and the gate of CoF1 I think the clown car change would be much higher prioritized.
What do you mean absorbing hits?
I don’t know myself, but maybe they mean the clown car takes up 1 hit so instead of cleaving 3 enemies, you only get to cleave 2.
Clown car=you can build adrenaline off hitting the car. While the dredge are invulnerable you can still max your adrenaline.
I have been told that the skipping exploits have been fixed in this patch. I’m hoping this means there were other fixes, has anyone seen anything?
Haven’t seen any “positive” fixes, just more dredge irritation.

Blink and jump inside shortcuts were fixed everything else same as it was. We had dredge fractal last night …it wasn’t fun. Takes even longer now.
Anet, when are you going to fix the camera on the final volcanic fight? If this kittenty new camera angle is intended, then it’s a very lame and artificial way to inflate difficulty. You’re better than that.

Bump This up to the top please. In all seriousness though, they aren’t “ready”. They need polish. The Dredge Fractal needs its length fixed to be more in line with the other ones like was said was going to happen and was admitted to have a length issue.

They never stated that they were going to fix the length. It was only as an option along with an option with the fractals in tiers. Guess which one they went with?

It was specifically stated that Dredge and Cliffside wouldn’t happen during the Fractured Developer livestream. Never really rescinded that I’m aware of, but was likely just that dev being mis-informed before the livestream started.
Yeah, it could be that they were. They could have very well changed their minds too. I’ll have to watch that livestream and hear what they claimed would happen. The thread I saw with the dev posts was from Anthony Cordon.

I’ve gotten Cliffside in 2 and Dredge in 3 before, after the Fractured patch. It’s definitely still possible. >.<
I just watched the livestream for Fractured and I don’t think they were prepared to present. In the beginning they stated the tiers the fractals were all on with the overlap and then they contradicted themselves about halfway through stating that you couldn’t get Cliffside and Dredge together. I just think it’s simply that they didn’t know enough about the update. They even stated that the meta reward would be materials that nobody already had a ton of and it turns out that they were wrong.
They can’t possibly fix fractal bugs and QoL when even their servers are running on a toaster’s budget.

They likely have a sufficiently big budget. I still think the problem is that they’ve devoted too many resources to the Living Story in an attempt to crank out new content every two weeks. It means that there’s little time or manpower for proper polish, or to go back and fix up bugs and design issues (barring huge exploity ones). There’s dozens of events that have been bugged ever since release, and there are also a few achievements (That Had to Burn, Shockwave Skipper) that have been bugged for a while now and never been fixed.

If this is referencing the current disconnects people have been experiencing, it’s not the servers that are having problems. The ISP near where the servers are located is being targeted by DOS attacks, which is affecting several games.
