I want to join a dungeon guild.

There are three big names when it comes to good dungeon guilds: DnT, LOD and rT. Only rT is in EU.

I recently wanted to join rT and was presented some requirements I just cannot meet despite watching videos and training: I’m a bad solo player… but I’m good team team player. I would fail should I try rT’s exam only because of the solo requirement.

But I’m bored of pugs: I just can’t bear playing exclusively with pugs, barely making 2-3 dungeons paths an hour when in an experienced team I could make 5-6 dungeon paths an hour. I often have that taste of fast runs when I get in that jewel group where everything goes fast and not only because of the FGS exploit. But it’s only a distant taste and occurs too randomly.

I know it’s a kind of auto-congratulation, but people actually cheer when they see me being a good guardian, saying it’s too rare. You cannot verify that, but well, that’s the case.

But but… I have room for improvement and sometimes I play a bit inconsistently. Some days I shine like no one, some others I’m the worse player ever. Also, I’m bad at Arah and had never the opportunity to melee Lupicus. But I’m a good learner and I want to learn.

So if you know a dungeon-centric guild that I could join and that meets the following requirements, please advertise it:

The guild should:

• allow ~50% rep time: I have friends I wanna chill with in a guild. There’s no way I’ll not rep that guild anymore.
• allow me to stay on my server: because personal bank guild, WvW and friends, but mostly bank and WvW.
• be able to run most dungeon paths and fractals: Arah is my Achilles’ heel, so this has to be run so I can learn it properly. I still have troubles with the new fractals as I nearly stopped them because of bad pugs.
• be mature: because I’m 31 and I don’t want to run exclusively with kids half my age and I don’t want to read “——” each line when I put the swear-filter on.

you could try applying to snow crows if their requirements aren’t as steep as rT’s (I have no idea what the reqs are for either so someone correct me if I’m wrong)

or you could transfer to NA, in DnT when we are doing dungeons and cant get a 5th we normally look on our contact lists

Your “not gonna transfer servers” restriction is what really limits your options. I’d consider transferring to NA, to BG in particular. It went from “Full” to “Very High” for like half an hour yesterday, and a bunch of ppl I know transferred then. I’d keep an eye on BG population, and as soon as it goes down to “Very High,” transfer ASAP. There are a bunch of choices on BG (DnT, DD, Only), and on NA in general (LOD).

Well, guilds are cross-servers and I can guest. So what’s the point of transferring? I’d rather stay in EU. Maybe if I’m bored too much without finding any alternative, I’ll switch to NA, but I’d like to give EU a chance.

Regarding rT, Dub said me he’d expect me to solo Arah p2. I trained for two weeks, but got nowhere, killing Belka only four-five times and miserably failing on Lupicus repeatedly in phase 2 when I passed Belka. So I simply gave up about it.

correct me if im wrong (ive never played on EU so chances of that are high), but over there rT and SC are the only games in town, if youre looking for English-speaking speed-run dungeon guilds. over here on NA though, I know of 7 guilds that speedrun dungeons, and 4 of them are on BG. so by transferring to NA (and BG in particular), you have more options. There are more elite pve guilds, and id make an educated guess that there are more meta players here as well.

I wouldnt say that. Id just say on eu we are all gathered into fewer guilds. Alot of us run with several people who arent in a top guild because they choose not to be. Anyway on eu there is rT, SC, LuPi, ONE and a few more. The only other ones i can think of off the top of my head are french though.

Keep Running (Kr) and Virtual Squirrels (Vs).

I’d join virtual squirrels just for the sake of their name. Pick them.

I wouldn’t say our reqs are steep, after all I’m the member. Anyway, you can always try applying on a different profession. I’m sure spoj would be happy with the first (?) necro applying.

I’m too bad to be a decent player and feel confident, but I’m not bad enough to say I’m inexperienced and a “newbie”. Such a sticky situation. So glad I have people carrying me all the time.

Well start pugging arah. Join one of the “experts only” groups for p2/p3. Wait for them to wipe at lupi then you can practice your solo/duo.
Also I heard there is this guild that wants to teach people do dungeons and stuff.

Best asuraball is a sentinel necro with vampiric signet. Or a sentinel warrior with healing signet.

Upscalling is an exploit!

We would need to be on three different servers of one WvW matchup. How about Tarnished Coast, Blackgate and Jade Querry? I think most of us are on BG or TC.
