Certain dungeons can close on you – CoF, CE, and Arah for instance.
Not sure if there is a logistics reason behind this or if it’s just a part of the game. But it makes running dungeons very tedious. Just tried to do 3 paths in CoE and had to complete the dungeon event 3 times as the dungeon closed everytime we finished a path. And it’s not like we were taking a long time in the dungeon.

See the same in CoF, where you just have large groups of people standing around waiting and maybe 2-3 ppl doing actual dungeon event. Maybe it was fun 2 years ago, but not sure how useful those events are now. Just feedback from one gamer.

Given how much they ignore as not important in the dungeons I doubt they will change the way you get in.
Arah is generally a non issue since farmers like the loot there.
Cof frequently only has 1 step to get done and it’s open again in under 6mins.
And as for CoE you can completely bypass the uncontest with some skill and knowledge, don’t ask me how I won’t share how but I’m sure other would tell you/show you how if you asked them privately.

Well, there’s absolutely no way to get back in to a closed CoE, I’ll tell ya that much.

What, last I checked the dev’s don’t care about minor things like that… now that Cm cheese with a certain gun on the other hand makes their socks fall off…

There are other ways to goat into it but they either involve void jumping or more difficult goating methods.

Find an LFG, get into their party, enter their instance (if they’re already in), exit the dungeon, leave party. Not the nicest thing to do, but it works.

I always keep my thief in front of arah since I never play it, and that way I can always open it when its closed
