Hello all! After a night of much head banging, I wanted to share my ele solo of the “new” lupi. My set up was about as defensive as could be, so I’m hoping to see others in the community post more yolo strats – and maybe even some staff solos.
Nice, and good music to go with it. Blind Guardian, right? I need to listen to more of their stuff – I mostly just know Mirror Mirror and Sacred Worlds (and their Demons & Wizards co-op with Iced Earth).

OMG you have to listen to all of their material, it’s so good. They were actually NPC’s in Sacred 2, and that was probably the best part of that game, given the studio went out of business…

If I wasn’t totally trash at side-strafing maybe I could do it with out dodging. ;n; But yeah I thank the gods for ring of earth every day in mai trin pugs. XD

Yeah, thats how I originally really listened to Blind Guardian, and I agree, the in game concert was the best part of the game for me. Game play was decent too in that game, though I didn’t care for the first Sacred much. I think a newer Sacred came out, but I haven’t played it yet.
Anyway, I’m think of trying this on engi. Any tips, besides camping grenades from max range? I’d rather stay in melee with bombs if possible, but I don’t think I’ll have enough defense for that – perma vigor only goes so far.
Vigor + an energy sigil will actually take you a long way, but I’m afraid I’m not an engi expert. I’d imagine FT’s reflect might play into it, since it has a relatively low cd.

If I were to do it I’d probably bring 66020 for perma vigor, energy sigil, pistol/shield, and toolkit. Then either Elixir R for more dodges or Elixir S for the invuln, S being a more “ohh crap” and R if you find yourself out of dodges and know somethings coming half the reuse time on R so might be better /shrug. That said I don’t know if you’d even need it.
You have Shield4 that can reflect the Necrid Blast or whatever it is. Shield5 which will block it. Toolkit which will block it. And 100% vigor uptime with a half recharge of your bar every 10s (camping nades means it’s more “when you want it” than simply being used randomly, though you may be swapping toolkit/shield for blocks /shrug). Potentially you could also go 64022 and get an extra 10% of your endurance bar back everytime you use a toolbelt skill, just a thought if you think you just need a little more.
Overall you have a lot of skills, though you’ll have to be more active than many professions that have some lower reuse reflect/absorbs for the projectiles, you could use Elixir U but it’s just a long reuse and I surely wouldn’t want to accidentally use the elixir >.< drain your endurance.
Updating with Austin’s staff strat – I was hoping for sub 6, (I got ~ 6:06) but this was a fairly clean kill and I think it’s a decent example of how the build works. For casual daily solos this works quite well. The only part where rng can screw you is phase 2, but that’s nothing new and if you can sidestep the swipe you can mitigate a lot of the risk.
