Sure, you can also solo it. I unfortunately tend to do it too… but then why put the golem up ?
I thought dungeons were for organized teams. The golem is such a process that was pretty much rendered useless due to its slow movement by this patch. Now it would actually be better to just have one person doing it on its own and using the bar skills.
And the waipoint does not work be it with or without the golem, you still get some mobs leeching after you instead of getting stuck on the turret.
You can actually leash the mobs as long as you don’t hit them. Once you do damage to them you get an agro position which overrides the turret.
I actually just updated my speed run guide last weekend, it shows how you can run it without having to take a mandatory wipe on one character for the waypoint.
But yea the turret is a little close forcing you to dodge right when you port in.

Also, as long as you take a look at that part, would you mind moving the waypoint further away from the turret ?

On the sidenote, I’m really curious how long would it take for a team of, let’s say, warrior, ele, necro, ranger and mesmer. Just to see the difference in class balance in pve.

I ll try some stuff on my side since that path is easy and i can solo it. But it just annoys me that what is intially a team mechanic has pretty much been rendered useless
We only run certain classes, don’t think many people have our necros and rangers geared up as much as guardian, warrior, mesmer, and ele.
Since it’s pretty well known that Rangers and Necros are UP for pve, we don’t bother with them.
Speed killing GL for example, is possible because you can burst him down fast enough where you don’t need stability on your dps classes. With guardians Stand your Ground and a shield block backup/blink backup on the warriors mesmers, you’re pretty much guaranteed to kill him before he uses a 3rd dome in phase 3.
Without high dps classes, reflects, and high burst utility through things like quickness, FGJ + Signet of Inspiration, and banners, you would need to take more defensive utility which turns a 1:10 fight into something closer to 2:30 min assuming no one dies.

weird can’t edit my posts. I was not talking about lupicus, just the path thingy.
And yes I know you are running UP classes. To each ones will.
I’m well aware how it works, I’m just curious what time such team could achieve. It would be much longer and less faceroll-ish, at least for non-rangers who just pewpew from distance anyway.
I just got stunt with a ranged attack by these 2 abominations. They should update their description with “skills change every update”.
