Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

I plan on doing Arah Path 4, and I was wondering if group composition really matters. I play a Guardian, and it seems that most groups will run war x3/mesmer/guardian. I’m going to be pugging it, and wanted to know.

You can easily kill Simin with a guardian on your team. Just don’t expect too many pugs to take you since most of them aren’t aware of it.

I played a thief in two different PUGs, and took Simin down twice today, back to back for the first time =]. My first group was Guard/2 x Warr/ Mes/Thief, 2nd group was 2 x Warr/Thief/Mes/Ele. Composition definitely matters to me but guards definitely have their place so I don’t think you should worry about it.

We downed Simin with 2 thiefs, 1 ele, 1 mesmer, and me (guardian).

Not to mention I ran 1400 healing power.

(It’s all about running the sparks)

edit: All pugs except me and the ele knew each other

What set up are Guardians using who do this path? I have full exotic Knights armour with Superior Runes of the Soldier. Also exotic Knights jewellry. I switched to using burn skills and Hounds. I know you need to use food, etc. However it has been suggested that unless I use Berserker gear then the dps won’t be enough. Any guardian got advice for this?
