Id like to know, since i dont browse the forum at all, whats the consensus about Arah.
I played on both Far Shiverpeaks and now am on Blacktide and in both of these servers the gates to Arah are closed.

Ive once entered a group that im still unaware as to how they entered it and i played all 3 paths like 2 times over.

But when i ask at any time of day on Mapchat everyone states its bugged and that you cant get in.

Im not asking as to how this bug works (the one that was used by that group to get us in) cause im guessing ppl frown on that junk.

But id like to know when the next patch is coming and will it address this long standing bug with Arah.
Its like the only challenging dungeon and the only lvl 80 one out there, i find unacceptable that a game with only 1 of these can allow it to be bugged for so long.

On an unrelated note, if anyones searching for an expirienced player for Arah, PM me or whatnot.

Arah is bugged on most servers.
The concensus is that it would be better to not be bugged.
You got in before when it was bugged because one of the party members logged out behind the gate when it wasn’t bugged and they’re using that char to get groups in, There’s nothing wrong with that as its not exactly exploiting anything.

Okay, so if its possible to do this way, why arent more people doing it?
I mean as an experiment, ive spend this entire day with my game on whilst im watching TV and reading a book.

Not a single kitten LFG.
I do intend to conclude the experiment and check on it the whole day deep into late morning hours.
But im afraid nothing will change.

Also, a question that id also like answered id if they hinted in any way that they are fixing it in the Novembers path (16th i heard somewhere)?

One way a group can bypass the gate door bug is by having a mesmer parked on the inside that can port you in. For this reason, I keep a mesmer parked inside the gate on an almost consistent basis.

Can he cast the second portal through the gate?
Hmm if that is the case i might need to find a mesmerbro.

You can get someone from an overflow server to zone you in or someone who is already on the other side

Some of us here have been forming cross-server groups (and a guild) specifically for getting around this sort of issue. … I think I’ve teamed already infact with a few people from ShiverP & BG. I’m on CD myself and a majority of the time, our gates remain defended… (and I’ve actually delayed entering an EXP just to help keep them that way).

adding you to my friends list incase my regular team has opening… you may want to add some people yourself though if you expect to get the most out of this. (ppl like Madcow, Ralliart, Petenuts, etc)
