Arah path 4
ya i can I’ve killed her a good deal and this boss is glitched in a few ways. one the sparks are glitched in a few ways and can’t be relied on to move them 2 the points to unstealth her.
so the only easy way short of luck to kill simin is to pull her outside the room against a rock or something your party can distinguish so you know where she is when she stealths. when a monster stealth they can still take damage so regardless if she’s stealthed she can still be damaged. so simply you place her in a corner and just attack through the stealth and continue to dps her down. she will stealth at 50% by default and at around 5-10% and some inbetween the hardest bit is after the first stealth making sure she’s under 60% health when she un-stealths it’s based off time and sadly i couldn’t tell u the amount.
but thats the simple explanation of how to beat her some things that help a lot. rangers aren’t great becasue there gonna have a hard time hitting the boss while stealthed. everyone needs mainly dps gear so u can damage her enough in stealth. if you can keep perma poison on simin this does effect the healing while stealthed so that means thats a extra 33% there. and lastly if you have a mesmer in your party time warp on the first stealth helps tremendous. if you have any other questions message me in game GL
I think she needs to be poisoned to be aoe damaged while invisible…
she don’t HAVE to be but i haven’t seen it done while she’s not i mean i’ve damaged her without poison on her but never killed her without it
The only way we did it was maxing dps and pushing her into a corner by the rocks, in doing so we had enough dps to kill her when the sparks were being put in place whilst invisible, and if this couldn’t be done she re-appears regardless without her heal ability. Attacking her whilst she is in stealth appears to slow down her healing rate. We had a Hunter, Theif, Guardian, Mesmer and Warrior, hope this helps.
ignoring the sparks is the easiest way to do it i promise lol
This is literally the worst dungeon mechanic I’ve ever seen. Just spent a solid 2 hours with a group that can clear any other Arah path in around 30 minutes and we couldn’t complete this.
I’m honestly curious who thought this was a good idea.
Thanks for advice Pritst but I want to point sth. We already knew that method with blocking her and damaging while she’s stealthed. We tried twice. Instead of standing in one spot she teleported to the room next to the statue.
I don’t think dps was our problem having two time warps.
The major problem was we were not able to get her out of stealth fast.
Maybe someone from developers should take a look how sparks work and correct them cause I suppose if those were going into the rings as they should we’d manage.
What my group did to clear it was assign one person to each spark in the room, than just have everyone pull their spark to the statue and just run around it clockwise while grouped up, just make common sense adjustments where its needed.
Even when we decided to do this method, it still took us like 30 minutes, grand total we spent like 1.5 to 2 hours on Dwayna. Honestly I think this entire fights mechanics could be fixed if they just made the sparks melee so they follow a little more consistently. Also ranger pets make that fight hell, leave the pets dead.
Okay I’ve JUST done it for dungeon master and it was extremely bugged. After going into stealth the first time she would enter stealth and heal up again at 50% after 20 seconds instead of the stated 40 seconds. Thus, she just re-enter the stealth+heal at 50% indefinitely regardless of how fast sparks were imprisoned and regardless of our spamming at her stealthed location.
It took us 4 hours with no avail until we came across a hard-to-find solution. To circumvent this, the only method is imprison only 4 sparks after the first stealth, leaving one out and letting her heal back to 80% and reappear. Only then did she truely go on a proper timer of sorts. In our case, she went down to 20% with overcompensating DPS (4-manning, full rampagers/beserkers while the one member stayed away to keep the last spark in a readily trappable location) before entering the ‘second’ stealth upon which we finally put the last spark in and she got destroyed.
