Arah path 4, or a sad story of heroes failing
Now i’m sure it was because of our inexperience, but still a boss encounter shouldn’t be as bad as this. If all bosses in the game don’t require perfect skills, why should this one?
Some bosses are just not meant for everyone to be able to beat. These bosses are for people who want the challenge. The bosses in this game at the moment are just for farming purposes(Gear Wars 2). I personally really loved this fight. We did it with two thieves, a mesmer, a guardian, and an elementalist(me). Only me and the guardian knew each other and we were both not berserker geared (he was power/healing/toughness and I was power/precision/toughness).
This fight is the only fight in this game at the moment that really requires your whole team to be doing their part. I personally think there should be more fights that require this kind of challenge.
My advice to you, get 5 of your guild mates and try it again, pugs are just too random. We got lucky with the 3 pugs we picked up but usually this isn’t the case. Its really not hard you just have to have good coordination(it wouldn’t hurt to have a few people go pretty dps heavy builds either).
Since i offered my help concernig path 4, last night some people called me to help them. We finish dwayna before patch few times, its not easy boss but also is not impossible. Last night we failed badly, after 3 hours on Dwayna we couldnt manage to pull sparks fast enough, sparks seems to aggro any other player that is in aggro range and in most of times spark even reset, i find this spark behaviour more confusing then before patch. After 50% Dwayna sometimes hide in next 10 sec, sometimes in next 30 sec, kinda randomly and still dont know why is that…. We had ok dps, 2 elementals glass canon, 1 warrior, 1 ranger, 1 guardian.

This just happened to us right now, she just randomly goes under for no reason and she refuses to go below 25% even if you put the sparks in before she hits 40%
Luckily I managed to beat Simin today. 3 HB Warriors, 1 Guardian on Tear duty, 1 100nade Engineer. It was glorious. We were all going for Dungeon Master and we did it.
I’ve always considered Tears of Dwayna spawns to be produced in real time every time a player on another instance fighting Simin fails to kill her before she starts healing.
