Arah path selling
Most of the kicking seems to be griefers kicking sellers. Path 2 is the easiest path to solo and sell. Path 4 goes for about 18-20g per slot. Path 3 is about 7-8g. Not sure what p1 sells for, i think its over 10g. But if you’re just going for tokens you are probably best off just buying p2 runs at 5-6g.
That will take awhile only bying 1 path ^^
Prices vary based on the seller, but usually they fall between this range.
P1 ~10g,
P2 ~6g,
P3 6~8g,
P4 18~20g.
Please contact me in game if you are interested in buying runs, I usually run all paths around reset.
I’ve never heard of a seller scamming the gold. The major suppliers have a reputation and don’t want to ruin it by shady dealings.

Most likely with the LFG Tool or on the gw2lfg.com website

Yeah those who sell path won’t scam ppl, but there’s a risk that some kitten just join the group to kick the leader, that’s why most seller have some fillers in their group to sell spots one by one. But if the leader is kicked, he will most likely send the gold received back.

I dont know about NA. But on eu theres almost always adds for selling arah on the lfg tool. Same with gw2lfg.com.
I’ve actually been thinking about doing this (as my guild doesn’t really dungeon) but I’ve been put off by the thought of getting scammed. What’s to stop someone advertising a run, taking the gold and then just disappearing?
Also, I’ve not really spent any time in Arah, will I need to go and learn the end boss before joining one of these runs? (Not a problem, I’d just rather know the score before I go in!)
It goes like that: you wait for party to be 5/5, get into instance, send money and wait for 1/2 people to kill the boss.
It is possible to be scammed but if you enter instance and notice seller at end boss it’s probably not scammer but there is always faith involved;)

You should always check if the instance is completed up to the last boss of the path you are trying to buy, beyond that you have to trust the seller (tbh I’ve never heard of someone being scammed while buying a path). You do not need to know any of the last bosses, except p3 maybe which is a pain to do solo so the seller might ask help, but it’s a very straightforward fight.

If you’re buying a run, you usually don’t need to do anything. You just enter the instance, stand there and get your completion.
You won’t get scammed if you use reputable people like DnT or various other people from this forum. But odds are no one will scam you anyway, I really don’t hear of that happening at all. Once you buy a run from someone and it goes well, let him know you’re interested in future runs. He’ll add you and most likely contact you when he does more.

What the … ? Ppl actually pay 20g for p4? And 10 for P1? P1?
Not trying to ruin anyone’s busines, but the prices are … oh dear ….
Considering p4 takes roughly about 3-4 hours to complete, I’d say that’s resonable
What about Cookie?
huh?
I haven’t been actively selling arah lately. Too busy with fractals!
If you need something; you can message me I guess. No promises that I’ll get it done quickly though. (I’m on NA)
P1: 10g
P2: 5g
P3: 5g
P4: 15g

The reasoning for the high prices on p1 and p2… Is that if you do not have the right group composition or the right players, it may very well take you 4 hours to do path for and over an hour to do path 1.

I realise how can long it can take, but still. I am just amazed that there are people who will pay that amount instead of running the bloody thing. P2/P3 I understad – its for tokens, ppl may not like the dungeon and dont want to run it 25 times. P4 also fine, cause I know there are groups that fail in P4, so those may not have another option if the “need” dungeon master. But P1 ? goes off to continue rant offline

p1 is definitely one of the worst paths to pug. I know I have spent 30 minutes waiting for all party members to finally arrive at the tar elemental (not exaggerating).
Looking at the price lists, I’m glad I have my two different players to buy from…
One sells for 4 gold a run, so I lose out on a little less than 1 gold
The other sells for 3 gold a run, so I actually end up gaining a few silver.
Of course this is path 2, and I usually don’t buy any more, because I just wanted my shards for bifrost, but I might continue and get a full set of skins

Considering current arah token conversion rate, 4g is pretty much zero loss.

I don’t understand… p4 is the most fun path in game. Bosses at least require some basic strategy. That’s how dungeon should look like, not “stack and press 1”, and people are willing to pay 20g? I’m just guessing that more than 10 minutes per run is too much for players stuck in cof. This ‘feature’ is making people even more lazy. At least sellers don’t have to bother to carry them all the way, lol.
Grenth room very fun indeed.
For those who only want p4 completed for DM, it is a hassle for them. They are not interested in anything more. For them, a 1 time 20 gold fee probably is acceptable. I, too run p4 for fun but it is definitely one of the longest path in the game. It will not appeal to those only looking for rewards.
how is arah p4 fun? I guess the best part is the super dangerous trash pack that pops out of nowhere before you spawn grenth, but in each of my ~4-5 runs of the path it’s been a boring slog through one of the longest and least boring dungeons in the game with incredibly uninteresting bossfights. the only redeeming feature of the path is the trash fights and the scenery during some of the skips which is pretty cool.
I understand selling/buying for people who just want tokens quickly, but dungeon completion?!

That ship has long sailed away.
And yes p4 can be fun when I have done p123 on a daily basis and am looking for something else.

arah token conversion rate?
My buddy “Maggnius” and me do arah path 2, 3, 4(sometimes 1 too) solo/duo clears/sales on NA servers pretty much every day.
Just hit either of us up ingame per whisper or mail. You can expect at least one of us to be doing this (almost)daily.

Problem is there are a lot of exploits in Arah and most dungeon sellers abuse them.

Problem is legit sellers have to invite 3 friends when selling to avoid beeing kicked by white knights.

I refer to those people as brown knights. You know, brown like the matter that humans eject from between their gluteus maximi.

Its not a problem. You sell dungeon runs at your own risk, since its not supported by Anet.
So, because of that it’s alright for brown knights to grief sellers?

Offering a service such as selling a dungeon path IS supported by Anet if no exploits are used…. do your research man

Malediktus was a BHB about selling paths a year ago; I like how he’s kept the same stance.
Well, it is kind of a con. So it’s quite funny when someone screws them over :P

I am not against selling spots, its just not officially supported by anet, so do not expect any help if you get scammed/kicked.
But if you sell them you should have done the spots without exploiting.
it’s griefing so it should be bannable. saying anything else is kittening kittened.

So… to earn an achievement you don’t even have to play the content, amazing achievement indeed. What kind of game let things like this happen? GW2 is so casual-oriented, sometimes it’s just funny what people want: “Less content, I don’t have time to play that much!”, “I don’t wanna do the dungeon, but I want tokens and achieves!”
Its not a problem. You sell dungeon runs at your own risk, since its not supported by Anet.
Then you buy Dungeons at your own risk, too. Therefore kicking ppl after they payed me 20g for arah p4 is fine and I cannot be reported for this, since its not supportet by Anet.

I am only saying how it is. As in the mentality ppl buying p4. Whether you like or not, DM is no longer something prestigious or an achievement that requires alot of skill. But if this creates a demand, I don’t think sellers have an issue with that… At least sellers are getting paid for carrying deadweights.
