Guild Wars 2

Having run dungeons a lot I’ve come to understand that Arah is unique from other dungeon content even including Fractals to a degree. I’ve had some terrific PUG groups and some bad ones like anybody else. I’ve tried doing this with guildies but they have been worse than the PUGs.

Is there anybody else out there that likes Arah but would just love to find a group of regular people to run it with? Isn’t there some way for us to get together other than using gw2lfg?

The thing about using gw2lfg is you are taking peoples word that they indeed have run Arah before but in many of my groups lately that hasn’t been the case. The group gets up to Lupicus and can’t finish because even when you bring in more replacements they dont know how to do him either. 90 minutes later the group gets frustrated and disbands.

So wouldn’t it be possible to form a guild on any server and give people who want to run Arah regularly a place to get together? Or is this just non-sense or wishful thinking?

I don’t know if the guild still is active but I suppose you could try to join it/whisper the creator for an invite

I thought about making a guild from the people I ran with in my thread but the thought came a bit late and I got lazy. I was in a guild like that before gw2lfg.com got big and I had a few good groups. Feel free to pm me in game if you want to get something started. I will help you out since I have many that will probably fit your criteria and will want to be added.

I think it’s the “hardcore mode” where you get kicked if you use an exploit or get killed.

I have not completed Arah, sadly. Joined pugs and most would just leave. I would love to find a group of people to run it with.

I think it’s rather pointed towards “established” runners.

Know how you feel, have the same thing at the moment. To be sure i have a good group i’d have to rely on guildies, but they are not too excited to do it more than once a week (or even less).

I’m willing to help out with arah P2 and P3. Definitely willing to join a guild of arah runners if you plan on starting one

Idk, experienced, unexperienced, pugs, premade partys, ive seen all of them fail and succed. Some ppl learn really fast how to do it, others, while they are experienced just plain suck at it.
And if you think partys that cant kill lupi are bad you yet have to see partys that cant even reach it.
Tho ill admit it, i love to run arah with those so “pro” CoF farmers that just bash theyr heads at the first group of mobs they see and die, it doesnt get old lol i cant stop laughting at that :P (not every CoF farmers are like that, but theres a lot)

you can add me to your friend’s list for arah. I don’t exploit though. So I’m down for legit runs.

You do still have a standing invitation to “I Can Dodge [FotM]”. It’s a guild a few of us started that invites only players with a good attitude and can hold their own in fractals and dungeons.
