Arah - working as intended?
I had a group who did it last night, about 12 hours ago, most of us had not done this dungeon before and we still beat lupicus. Only one guy i had to go all the way back to the closest waypoint but we still did it in 3 tries. (2nd try he followed me out the door, I didnt know he would reset) He honestly isnt hard, just has a big health pool
He is not difficult. I die more times when a group wants to pull him to waypoint then in the actual room.
Door Still bugged… doesnt open!
fix asap pls
You don’t suppose to WP zerg it. Not that this changes much, the path back is still short enough to make it on time, if the group is even half decent. Today I’ve done this with 2 veterans, 1 whom has done it before with the WP pulling method and 2 total newbies. It took me a pretty big wall of text, but we easily did it on the second try. This is not hard at all.

It’s obviously not a bug.
People seriously have problems with Lupicus?
Maybe it is time for some people to actually improve on the game.
This is as intended. Anet wants you to use the other Wp (at the 2nd boss) in p3 and 4.
You just need lots of vigor and endurance with some dodge practice to kill lupi in a single try.
But Anet needs to move a wp closer to lupi, why not just leave it at “lupi will rest if you pull him out of the room” and just let us use the wp that’s close to him? The run back from magecrusher is REALLY annoying and it doesn’t improve a player’s skill other than make people whine, qq and ragequit.
p.s. I suggest you (Anet) add a wp close to lupi and fill the paths with lots of traps, make it narrow. This solves EVERYTHING.

Lupicus isn’t that hard if you know what to do. Just use all of your survival skills (vigor, endurance, block, aegis, etc etc), don’t rez any member downed right below Lupicus at phase 2 and 3, keep separating from your friends at phase 2 and 3.
Guardian have a VERY BIG role in this fight. Keep Aegis up on your teammates (you can use your F3 skill, “Retreat!” skill, Renewed Focus to refresh the F3 skill).
Also, Wall of Reflection is very useful to reflect random single targeting green projectiles and AoE green projectiles (Yes believe me, you can reflect this AoE green things with Wall of Reflection). Use Sanctuary while rezzing your teammates to protect yourself and your downed friend from those greenies. Use 5th Focus skill to block 3 times. That’s what i did on every Lupicus fights.
As Severan Rye.6215 said, im totally agree with adding a near WP before Lupicus fight, because Lupi is still hard to many people, especially when they pick a random group.

Lupicus is rather easy once your group realized that
- p2 is about survival and not about pure dps
- most of the time you don’t need to dodge to avoid his AE spam attack, running forward is enough
- his single target poison attack can be avoided without dodging, just circle Lupi and as soon as he targets you change direction
- no, you are not supposed to have a glass cannon build with 12k HP
As a side note: Yesterday I was in a group that tried to pull him back to the waypoint on path 2. After we had him at the second door he just resetted and respawned in his room. So they probably really fixed him for good.
