So there are, iirc, 5 different types of mobs:
warriors, mages, cultists, monks and rangers (< or similar called).

I’m personally playing a thief with some more vit than usual but no toughness at all which means i got 15k hp (instead of 11k base) and 2k armor, which ofc isnt a lot.

I’m able to go melee against the cultists, monks and rangers and survive some time – their hits are not that hard but still shouldn’t be ignored.
But if it comes to warriors and mages.. warriors can be “easily” kited but if a charge of them hits, im dead/almost dead. It’s 13-16k though. As far mages they got a similar skill that 1hits me as well and I can’t even see any projectile flying or any red circle on the ground. Saw several other people dying to groups of mages as well, even guardians and warriors with a lot higher base hp and/or toughness/armor.
Anyone knows how to dodge those mage hits? Is there any animation I’m missing to see?

If not, I’d suggest that those mobs need a little fix.
I mean.. it’s not like ascalon frac would be to hard or so, it’s still one of the easier ones esp thanks to all the vet npcs you got, but at least give me/us a CHANCE to dodge incoming 1hits/2hits.
Talking about lv30+ btw, as noticed there will be a raise of 3 things at higher lvls:
- higher hp of mobs
- higher attack of mobs
- higher amount of mobs

Hmm i think the oppisite of this. Everytime i get the ac fractal i say “nice” to myself becasue its so much better than the rest on 30+
There is a huge meat sheild of npc’s to soak up any and all damage the whole time. Maybe the player with the npc’s was just hanging back to far to help you? Im not sure if you’ve ever played gw1 but this game is no different as far as pulling mobs. Its called line of sight, if they can’t see you or hit you then they all run up right beside you causing the whole group to ball up and get kung pow’d. Every group in that fractal with the exception of the 1 group that attacks you at the first wall can be easly killed using line of sight.
