You currently have to stay in motion to hit Graveling burrows with melee.
Otherwise you get constant missing.

I personally play a Mesmer and often times event my Iduelist and Iswordsman cannot land a hit.

It’s still possible to complete paths 1 & 2 with a good group, but pugs have difficultly due to the targeting bugs.

I love that you have to move to close a hole. Makes perfect sense. Stabbing and slashing the same area won’t fill it with sand.

The problem is some high DPS powers root you.
Many ranged attacks also get obstructed warnings unless you are in the exactly right place.

Yeah, this is an issue for melee on object destroyables in general. Weapons racks, graveling burrows, siege constructs, you name it. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon, it’s been a problem since release.

i posted about this being bugged weeks ago for range as well. as elementalist my fireballs would routinely fly towards the wall and i would get an “obstructed” pop up. even though i was standing a few feet infront of it with a clear attack path right at it. i found one burrow that was particularly buggy for everyone to hit and that was the one to the far left when the event starts. this buggy mechanic prevented the group i was with from completing at at the time
