So its gonna be about 3 months since you guys released ascended gear, ppl have been grinding FOTM quite a bit to get them and its been quite fun all along. But now the problem seems to be ppl having so much excess fractals tokens that we can’t do anything with them.

Hence my question is when are you guys gonna release more ascended gear and can we buy them with the excess fractal tokens we have. No need for anything accurate but at least a rough timeline would do. My worry is that Anet comes up with something totally new to buy the remaining ascended gear and we are stuck with all these tokens for nothing. Don get me wrong, I like the idea where ppl get tokens for achievements which then can be changed into ascended gear but just don make fractal tokens redundant in the process.

Another question that I would like to ask(is something ppl have asked quite alot on the forums but haven’t seen any reply), is can PLEASE introduce something that can be done about the excess ascended rings. Selling them off got 4s at the vendors is quite stupid so please don even mention that.

Wanna hook on to this post because this has been on my mind since my first ascended ring. I dont see the fun in doing the whole game over with a new profession so no rings needed for alts.

Yet i had a ring with stats i didnt need, no worries there because I would farm on till i got the right ones. However I try to salvage the ascened for hopefully a nice amount of globs → no go. Then you try selling on TP, not an option either, and worth 4s at a vendor.

Can you please do something about at least salvaging the stuff because the current ascened system is rubbish in my eyes, getting endless rings with no use in them at all.

And indeed, theres a nice amount of the relics and pristine tokens by now, please make sure they dont become trash as well. At least I can use the other dungeon tokens to get exotics which i can salvage for some globs. Making it not entirely useless to help guildies in some runs.
