Why on earth do we have ascended rings and not tokens. Don’t get me wrong, but I have no purpose for my ring other than agony. Why not let us pick out our stuff?
FotM was an all around mistake, I enjoy the content but not the RNG involved of ring drops, and then having a stock pile of fractal relics I can’t use because I have nothing left to spend them on.
When dungeons were in development they bosses/chests use to have a small chance to drop the dungeon weapon/armor from them but that was removed and then they just left the tokens to purchase the gear which wasn’t bad because you knew exactly how long you would have to work towards your goal.
Now with FotM you have a small chance of getting a ring and then another small chance of getting the ring you actually want. Then at 20+ you have an even smaller chance at receiving an infused ring and guess what have to pray that infused ring is the one you want. ArenaNet NEEDS to add rings to the fractal relic vendor so we aren’t getting blocked in progressing by bad luck. Doing Jade Maw and knowing you are going to die because your luck sucks is not fun.
