Ascended rings becoming vendor trash?

- Can’t upgrade them
- Can’t put them in the forge with 3 others
- Can’t salvage them
- Can’t trade them to people who need them.
- Can’t pick the stats you want.

What can you do with ascended rings?

- Give them to alts
- Sell them to merchant for 5 silver

I have half a bag full of kitteny stats rings and duplicates with nothing to do with them.

Can we at least get some salvaging or some forge recipes?

Half a bag? Either you have an 8 slot bag or you are about to be spammed with RNG Hate.

Well when you are lvl 40 and do all the dailies, they pile up rather fast. Even with RNG, people will experience this in a short amount of time. Not to mention non infused rings are useless items, unless you just want to optimize stats for WvW/PvE. Once you have 2 infused all other rings are vendor trash.

Not salvageable? That’s unfortunate…I suppose Anet has not decided on a proper loot table for ascended quality items yet. After all, what do they drop? Orichalcum and ectos? That’s the same as an exotic. Would have to be something a bit nicer. Hmm.

There are already ascended-level materials that drop by tier in fractals. Presumably, these materials will have more used when full ascended-level sets are available. They could, for instance, allow you to craft ascended armor out of ascended materials attained via random drop or salvaging ascended drops.
