Am I having bad luck? I have never gotten any of the mist essences required to fuse with trinkets in the MF to create infused ascended. I have agony infusions ready but never do I get any of the items needed.

Am I just unlucky, or am I doing something wrong?

I feel your pain. I have everything needed, except one tiny little material that refuses to drop. The shards. Perhaps it is just bad luck and we need to buck up and keep praying to RNGesus.

I forgot to mention that I’m at fractal level 47 and I still only have 15 AR. Trying to get to 51 before the December update, but its getting harder since people keep doing AR checks.

Your best bet for more AR would be getting more trinkets/weapons/armor pieces so you can put +5s or, once you have the mastery, +7s in.

agreed, I have been trying to do some fractals to get mists essenses but mostly I’m not getting anything. If I do get something it likely is just a mists vial, the lowest tier thing even in high tier fractals.

Seems like it may be a bit too hard to get any amount of agony beyond 98 at this rate.

Something that should be mentioned is that you can upgrade vials into globs into shards and downgrade shards into globs into vials; might be helpful to some people.

Clear all Ascalon or Thaumanova trash on low levels.

Okay, then let me go deeper. What level should I get my personal fractal reward level at? I was planning on 51, then trying to solo some of the lower levels. Do I need to be in level 51 in order to get a certain mist essence item needed for fusing ascended trinkets?

According to wiki the shards start dropping at 50+, but I don’t pay attention to it so I can’t verify. If you have enough vials/globs (doesn’t sound like you do, but who knows) then you can check the wiki for the recipe to upgrade those into a shard.
