Best way to learn Arah?
Watch videos and join the [Noob] guild. I think that’s the wisest choice.
What class do you play?
Do you play on NA or EU?

Best way to learn arah, is to do arah
There’s this colesy elitist scummy who roams the Arah LFG from time to time teaching pugs.
Much like the Skritt burgler, you just gotta be in the right place at the right time to catch him.
I can recommend some “late” time mentors from what I remember.
EU region:
- haveageez (up to 3-4 am, but like a rare unicorn)
- Jerem (1 am max)
- Purple miku (up to 3 am, but only a few times a week)
- Terissimo (24/7, need students)
NA region
- colesy (seemingly 24/7)
- No Pulse (early morning in NA, about 3 am PDT or 6 am EST)
Edit: per request of Terri-chan.

I learned it by watching a youtube video of arah p2 solo and went on to do it myself on warrior. I only pugged like 10arahs where I got totally carried and where we ranged lupi. I had to learn the attack animations for Lupi which was not fun. it was a lot of trial and error because videoes don’t explain why they do certain things. Anyways it was fraustrating and super hard at first but after u get it down arah is surprisingly easy.

I probably should have mentioned that I’m NA and main a warrior. Thank you all for the responses, I’ll have to see about getting in contact with one of them.
Get some1 to run the path one time with you. He does everything on his own and you just stand and watch and let him explain the stuff you have to watch out for.
Then you just have to go in countless times and get trashed by lupicus. It took me two weeks before I was able to safely solo Lupicus… And I went in every day and tried for 2-3h on him before raging ;-)
But it definitly pays off.
Best is to join [Noob] and see if some1 is available =)

I wouldn’t suggest having a teacher who just made you watch them. I’m a believer in learning through experience, so if that means getting point blanked in to barrels at belka, pulling drakes near the abomination and getting your face kicked in over and over again by lupicus, so be it. Anyone can watch a soloist but you only actually learn once you’re doing something yourself.
To learn i think its best trying to solo p2 or getting someone to teach you. Trying to learning by pugging can be a nightmare. Most veteran players dont have patience or skill to teach a newbie and lots of newbies keep ragequitting a lot, making you waste time posting another lfg add until it gets bugged, when i pug and i see a 1k ap player joining i know that he will ragequit on the second wipe.
Soloing arah p2 is not harder than doing it in a group honestly, if you notice on the solo videos the players keep reseting the first boss by running back to the bone wall, that makes it much safer to solo Belka. The skipping parts wont be more difficult just because you are soloing, the second boss (Abomination) is pretty easy after you learn his moves, after that you finally get to Lupicus.
You said you had difficult with Alphard, i think you probably fought him before anet fixed the bug which caused her bomb to oneshot people, she now is much easier.
Wow, they still haven’t fixed the bone wall exploit? But they did fix the Alpkittene-shot, I thought that was by design…
Get in touch with [Noob], maybe do some full runs to get the hang of it, then duo if you can find an experienced player that’ll duo with you.

As luck would have it, tonight I got a member of [DD] in a pug group for CoE who asked me to come do an Arah run afterward. After admitting that I’m an Arah noob, they brought me along to teach me. So I got a second set of weapons for undead slaying and did a path. Apart from the very quick kick/slap(?) animations on Lupicus the run wasn’t too bad.
I like the duo idea after getting the hang of full group runs. Definitely a skill builder.
I’ll certainly be getting in touch with [Noob] at some point here soon.
Also, I’d like to thank Brazil for making his in-depth Lupicus guide video. It certainly helped to watch that before I even knew I’d be doing Arah tonight. Granted, Lupicus still destroyed me, but I was able to stay on my feet until I got bubbled in phase 3.
good on you Popcorn!
talk with Ivan the Grey here as well, he is an Arah Addict. along with myself but i tend to play very late at night so i cannot feed my addiction as well as i should.
Maybe some big guilds could create an academy or something like that to teach potential main-guild members how to do some stuff and test their skills
Of course they wouldn’t accept anyone: you need some game knowledge, at least 2 different classes (for situational stuff), and other requirements
At least you wouldn’t need to PUG to learn (which may result in terrible experiences)

Hello, this is the really reclusive [Noob] coordinator speaking. You called?
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
OP, I would more than happily take you through Arah when I’m able to get back on on a regular basis. I’ll add you and we’ll go Additionally, I’m going to start doing Saturday Morning Arah Tours when irl stuff chills out.
I might have to take you up on that Ivan.
No Pulse hit me up tonight for a P2 duo and I have to say he is an excellent teacher! An incredible amount of patience while I missed dodges on Lupicus/ failed on trash runs until I got it right. It took a little while to get through, but with only the dps of two people it demands that you learn all the tells and such until you do it well.
Leo (No Pulse) is a very good teacher. He helped me with my first Lupi solo as well. I would suggest watching these videos to get an in-depth tutorial. It’s almost as good as having a teacher.
I think he already did his homework
