Guild Wars 2

So this is a first but I ran into something this morning. I went to the arah dungeon and when we get to the last boss every one was kicked except for 2 people. I went back in and they demanded 9g at first and then finally 5g. I paid the 5g and was kicked again. I was kicked about 4 times before i figured out what was going on.
Just to make sure. I logged onto my warrior and went back to Arah. They demanded money from a couple other players and as soon as the money was received they were kicked.

Be careful of this scam.
The player that did the most talking was Norn female warrior named CENSORED

This was on the Sorrows Furnace server but I’m pretty sure they were just guesting from another server to do this.

Report them for scamming and maybe LFG abuse.

And why on earth did you pay them if you had been there in the first place?

Wait…. how many gold did you pay them in total before you realized it was a scam?

So you payed 5g but got kicked 4 times? I smell bullkitten.

I don’t check the forums all the time but yeah I paid the 5g then logged my warrior and just entered the dungeon and was trying to talk him down but other players were there who paid and got kicked. I’m fairly certain that they were guesting from another server so they could scam players out of money. I’m sure they made a good 50g in a couple of hours just kicking people from the dungeon before logging out.

Why do pay gold for some dungeon tokens in the first place?!
I ignore/report those “sell boss @ 1%” Thiefs on LFG tool.

If you get to the last boss, and you get kicked, then you basically know that you’re being kicked so that they can sell the slots. That is one scam.

Then they ask people to pay 5 gold. I’m not sure if they actually meant to sell the slots back to the people they kicked, that may have been a mistake. But you pay them, and then get kicked again. That’s a second scam. So you got scammed twice in a row.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice….
