I was reading a lot of posts from people about bosses being skipped and that loot sucks, and how hard it is for devs to balance, because people could just walk in and farm the first boss over and over if the loot is made better. What if the bosses themselves did not have their loot table changed but instead each one gave you a pretty hefty magic find bonus that stacks each time you kill one. That way the more of them you killed the treasure drops would get better for the rest of the dungeon and killing all the bosses would mean you had the best chance at good loot from the final boss. It would still keep people from going in and just killing the first boss because his chest would still contain the junk loot , but would give players a reason to want to kill him.

First problem is the last boss does not drop chests that I have seen, other wise this might work. Even then for some people the object is to get the tokens for the gear and the silver at the end the point of just extra random rares or lower items that will probably not be used, just to be sold on the TP for a few silver is not that appealing. If it gave enough magic find to make an exotic would drop off the boss it for sure would make it worth it but the market would get flooded with them.

Now put in some cool looking cosmetic only gear that drops off the end boss if you have high enough magic find might make it worth it. That way it is still token based to get the “end-game” gear no random chance, and extra just for looks stuff is random.

I like the MF buff idea. But if something happens, and someone leave, the substitute will join the last part of the dungeon with 0 buffs, and lower drop possible, making feel umconfortable for someone to join, wasting time, except if interested on that particular token, only thing left without buff.

By the way… Magic find apply just to drops from mobs, NOT chests. So having magic find in dungeons is totaly wasted stat.
