Do you NEED burnzerkers to be able to defeat Gorseval? I’m hearing all over the place that you need burnzerkers or you won’t be able to defeat the boss. I’m finding that hard to be true, but it seems like so many people are swearing on it and demanding it.

No you do not

No but it helps. You just need very high DPS and condi warrior is the easiest way to achieve that.

Multiple guilds cleared Gorseval without burn zerkers.

It’s not required. You don’t even need a condi-heavy group.

My group that cleared it last night was:
2 Tempest
3 Herald
2 ps war
1 condi engi
1 chrono
1 druid

The last phase was a little close (he was channeling his 1-shot when we got the kill) but it was literally our first kill ever so the fight is still not as clean as it can be.

tl;dr – condi wars are not necessary.
