Buying arah paths
There is an exploit in arah p2 where if you are a thief or mesmer you can break the map and swim to any place and even fight the bosses underwater. To see if its a legit solo run you just need to see if the wp at lupicus is avaliable, because lupicus cant be killed with this exploit but he can be skipped without losing the final rewards.
Recently a bunch of arah sellers got banned for selling exploited runs, there was even a guy named Dolan who got banned too, and he was quite known here in the dungeon forum, so i believe if you keep reporting that scammer you can get him punished for selling exploited runs.
Well I guess warriors can do it too cause he was a warrior just stoped him again.
There are several ways to exploit Arah that is known which all include skipping Lupi.
There is nothing wrong with buying paths, but do not buy from exploiters. If there is no waypoint where Lupicus is (I trust you know where this is) report them, tell people in the party he’s scamming, and then leave a find a legitimate seller.
ArenaNet seemingly refuse to fix Arah. And reputable sellers do not want these runs being sold, because scammers and exploiters drive the price down crippling their profit/hr.

Except that some of the banned people were “light” exploiters. And Dolan, as far as I know never exploited to sell.
But yes, keep reporting that guy and hopefully he can get banned. Less competition is always better :>
Next time you see him take a screenshot and see if you can add it when you report him.
In game report system doesn’t allow you to add a screen shot and think I gotta be careful how many times I report him. Don’t think anet likes one person reporting same person over and over.
I think what OP is saying is that the guy who was selling the dungeon hadn’t actually completed it and therefore couldn’t offer the dungeon reward to any buyers, not that the seller had exploited but was still able to sell.
Those kind of people are just the biggest kittens tbh, taking advantage of people who don’t know that much about the game. Whenever I’ve seen someone do this I always join their party and invite a friend if possible to kick them out. Unfortunately sometimes the party is already 4/5 and I can’t do anything other than warn the people in there (who probably have already paid).
My friend who was selling arah p2 a few days ago had 2 regulars 1 random that all paid, the 5th joined and was able to kick him using some unknown method. The regulars told him that there was no kick message.

He might have used the merge bug/glitch.
