CGC - My one concern.
CGC wont dictate how often you have to play, your guild will. so its not a content problem.
Honestly, that’s the beauty of smaller sized groups. In the case of 10 people that’s not something overly difficult to throw together on a whim. Add in the fact that each person can play multiple roles, and many have multiple characters all at BIS setups, well, you’re not looking at anything like WoW type raiding.
I did 8 man raids in DCUO, we did our weekly thing basically as a get together with the friends. then we’d replay them whenever we wanted to throughout the week (or finish ones we didn’t do). I imagine if GW2 added 10 man raids it’d be similar to that.
That said, Challenging Group Content doesn’t mean raids at all. It could mean just new fractals or dungeons. Or maybe something that every attempt in the last 15 years has failed to do, and have challenging open world content, but yeah I have 0 faith in anyone pulling that off.

Yeh you are right. But it feels like you’re missing the point I was trying to make with my concern.
What if the content has a mechanic to it that requires several evenings a week devoted to getting through it reasonably.
Or if it has artifical difficulty barrier that it does take a few weeks to it in order to progress, aka raid style, instead of getting loot drops to raise an item level to be able to soldier on through you instead get masteries which effectively mimic getting a higher item level.
I for one don’t see why they don’t add a super hard mode version of their story instances they released pretty often through LS for example.
