I spent the majority of my day grumpy kittened off and just generally not in a good mood due to any number of things. Many of them came from these forums…. I really need to not be thinking about this stuff while i work with sharp knives and fire….

Anyway…

I am laying out a personal Challenge to the Dungeon Community. something to perhaps keep us busy and united. and not trying to murder the randoms.

Contest is open to submission beginning the moment this post gets live.
submissions will be accepted till MIDNIGHT JUNE 23rd, (June 24) MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME NORTH AMERICA.
you have 20 days.

Prize pool is 300 gold. from my own pocket. to be split among party members as you all deem fit.

1 Necromancer
1 Engineer
1 Ranger

Why always arah p2?

Nova, it was a spur of the moment do you have a suggestion that would showcase better and not cause such a headache?

p3 would be better imo, less meatbag bosses and less dead running space.

Oh wow I would so love to participate in this, but my computer can’t run video recording software. I have an Engineer, a Necromancer, and a Ranger I’ve played a ton with meta builds and would love to work toward this with people who are willing and someone who can record. Unfortunately, I’m not in any of the fancy awesome guilds, but you can check me out in-game if you’d like and weigh my skills appropriately.

I never roleplayed in an MMO, but i have some P&P roleplaying experience (Shadowrun&Warhammer Fantasy), and i have an Engenieer, if you dont mind me being bad at Arah aswell we might give it a go…

Keep in mind you all. even though there is a “first prize” i will be offering other forms of goodies for stuff. So get a group together even if its “for the spirit”.

27:20 was our first attempt, we even wiped a few times.

However, the damage potential of said composition us just flat out horrible. 27 minutes is about the time it takes a warrior to solo this. Ugh.

Thanks ^^ It’s mainly for skip that we could have some problems ^^ We practiced Belka quite a bit last time, and we probably can kill her before she teleport a second time if we don’t make mistakes. Also the Abom, I guess I need some practice with ranger sword auto attack :s

Problem about belka is the stupid orb that instantly explodes in our faces for no reason. Reflection makes it bounce back to her, she reflects it again and it kills everything around her anyway. Only thing that heps is projectile blocking, of which elexir u with 50% chance for 8s is the only viable option.

Necro and engi can take care of defiance and stunning without help from ranger.

I’m a ranger looking for a party/team for this. Sounds like something fun and why not do it (no experience in speedruns, but i can try) also i’m on Eu (ROS). Wisper me ingame if you want me to join you or another team is forming.

She never fires it at melee range for me. She fires a single one when she teleports away but you can easily see and dodge that.

If you block her projectiles before anyone else gets hit (by stacking on top of her with Gear Shield, Strider’s), nobody will take damage, so they are not “just for one player”.

Strider’s Defense has a very vague description, does anyone know how the actual mechanic works? Is it like elementalist earth dagger #2? Or like an aegis proc? The difference could be huge.

She fired the orb at us in melee range about 5 tries in a row 1shotting us when we were standing right next to her.
