CM is way to hard!
As is true of every dungeon, you can pull all mobs to the same spot and cleave / dps them down before they can actually threaten you, but for us mortals who run in groups with insufficient damage / coordination for such tactics:
- Reflection & projectile block is essential. There will be multiple times you are faced with a set of riflemen / scatter-shots, and even a single thief smokescreen can buy a lot of time to breathe.
- Condition clear is essential. The number of times I have seen cutpurses of all things wipe groups because nobody has a good response to 12 stacks of bleed is depressing. Bring a cheap cleanse for yourself at the absolute least.
- There are parts of this dungeon you simply should skip. Whether you do a full stealth run or a crazed group chicken-run to the exit, sometimes the mobs aren’t required, and that means they’re not worth the trouble.
Any specific parts of the path you want to ask about? The only part I can think of that I really hate is after the bomb-gate in the Seraph path, with all the canons and mobs there. Everywhere else I can think of a trick / tactic.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
This really isn’t difficult, me and my buddies do P1 and P2 religiously almost everyday (hallelujah plague recipe!).
The only time you should ever run into trouble is if Brigitte on P2 SPAMS her retaliation symbol like she regularly enjoys to.
But sure, condition removal is nigh on essential, other than that just L2Dodge Riflemen.

All the dungeons are hard if you don’t know the tactics. CM is one of the dungeons that is very hard is without tactics. It’s a big help to know the dungeon so you can ambush the ambushers. You need to know what each enemy does and actively control them with missile defense, blind, etc.
No, stop that moaning please!
The dungeon is a simple steam roll, if you can’t do it then you need to change your build, team etc.
In the fight club room, run up the ramp and past the fight club. Btw, you didnt hear anything about a fight club.
No, it’s not.
You’re highly likely just too much of a bad player.

@ emanuel
Players like you contribute to all the bad in the game. Gw2 is a game where you need to know a dungeon to run it well. Comment’s like these keep players from admitting they’re new, which can cause problems. Why would you go out of your way to pull the op down, when you could have built him up, or not posted at all and/or just played the game?
I remembered the first time I did an exp dungeon (AC), none of know what is going on at all. None of us know that Kholers pull has that big windup and instakills everyone. We wiped like 10 times on him and gave up.
My reaction? “Wow this kitten is intense. Awesome that we got some hard content to work on”
Months later I started reading stuff on this forum and see “OMG OP NERF PLZ”

Explorable dungeons were intended to appeal to people who react as Wukunlin does to mechanics that might seem hard until you figure them out. If a player prefers a more relaxed dungeon experience — without having this reaction — then explorables are not for him. Such a player would be better off in story mode or not doing dungeons at all.
I don’t want to give the impression that I’m a grammar kitten, but it’s way too* hard, you forgot an “o” in the too, just saying, good luck on CM.
Is currently emotionally unstable because Breaking Bad is over

The only thing in CM that requires you know what to do is the rocket reflecting. The rest of it is ‘Oh hey, maybe i shouldn’t pull all 20 of those enemies at once.’
No, it’s not.

I realize my post was way too harsh and i apologize, but i’m kind of sick seeing “NERF X DUNGEON/CONTENT TOO HARD” threads every few hours, are you not?
And yes, i do play the game. I usually just post on the forums when i’m either not at home or waiting for something/someone(ingame).

Spike trap run, gunners plus flame turret area, the run past the fight club rather than engaging, mobs that cant be pulled, the amount of condition dmg you can end up taking from the dagger mob, net turrets, etc.
There is quite a bit that an experienced group knows how to handle, that an inexperienced group might need a couple attempts at. Then take into account that this is only the second dungeon and many of these types of obstacles haven’t been introduced anywhere in the game to the leveling player yet, it can be tough for an inexperienced group to overcome.

Right, spike traps/pillows.
The rest of that is ‘oh no! npcs!’
a dungeon that’s actually NOT always faster if your whole team is Zerkers used to bypassing everything ???

It’s ArmaFrikkenGeddon up in here!
(* pssst * even the seraph path can be done in less than 15 minutes by a balanced team .. give or take a few minutes to hide extra kegs for your celebration party afterwards)

So, Caudecus is hard ? I’d advise you to revise your teamplay Like others said before, think about what the mobs do, and what you can do to neutralize it. I especially love to have a well necro in my group for this one ^^ between the blinds, the condition transformation and all, it’s happy time.
Maybe you can glean some idea of how to do it from these videos:

Or go to Strifey guide
Reflection / kiting
Spirit rangers and necros are powerful in CM
On the barrels, “guard” your bear to the middle and throw barrels. The mobs will be obsessed with your ranger. In the meantime, everyone else run the barrels. Take a ranger, ylu won’t be disappointed.
You can run past mobs pretty often. Easy tactics is: catch all enemies in a room, pull them around a corner. DPS them down, use guardian buffs to mitigate/negate damage.
