COF p1 video, thief+warriors 25 stacks might.
I stopped watching the video as soon as I saw your explanation for pushing the slave driver against the wall. It’s not to make 100b easier it’s to benefit from the full dps of a whirlwind. And it’s better to use focus pull and have everyone already hugging the wall before the fight starts because he can leap on people who aren’t in melee range which can waste a cc and thus have him put defiant and not on a wall for the duration of the fight.
I think you have a problem reading properly… That’s —- > scootabuser’s < —- video, and my current name here is LoneWolfie, completely different letters. My video has not been edited at all.

Trying to get a warrior to use his bow f1 is about as easy as getting blood from a stone. They are so ignorant and afraid of that skill that I was literly kicked from a cof run b/c I asked one of the warriors to drop his f1 so I could give the team 25 might. Their reasoning for why it was such a horrible idea? Apparently them equiping bow would drop team dps too much. It’s funny b/c they just avoided the fact that they could use the built up adrenaline from past fights and use healing surge to fill it back up again OR they could just swap back on axe/mace after dropping the field/before combat. Alas, pugs will remain ignorant but never lose their all-knowing attitude until strife makes another vid (needs 4 wars though) showing that fire+blast=good.

Nono, swap the lbow with the gsword, looking for your offhand weapon sucks with a large inventory >.<
but yeah, if you want to rely on combo fields ur gonna need to be running an organized team, pugs will rarely work well with effort requiring setups. Also if you’re using SOI anyway, you didn’t accomplish what you want to with the thief sbow as 4 warriors + SOI = 24 might without using the firefield

IF all 4 warriors brought out their lbow, used 3, and 3 banners were dropped (along with fgj), then they’d just barely beat out thieves IF the thieves restricted themselves to only using 2 clusters (which would still result in 25 might with a mesmer). If they wanted to shoot 1 or 2 more times, 25 might could easily be achieved without a mes. Whole point is that it doesn’t matter which set up you use, they both will achieve the same thing and kill stupidly fast. The pt with a few thieves will probably kill a little faster than the warriors but the full warrior pt won’t have to turn their brains on while cof 1ing.
1 thing with thieves though, use thieves guild over hounds (if you’re human). Cast them after 1st blast from effigy and they’ll be ready again by the time you get to slave driver. If you also use ambush trap, you’ll have 3 thieves on the field. If you’re lucky and get 2 melee thieves, you are doing the dps of roughly 2 warriors IF they don’t get aoed down (likely the boss will be dead before then).

Edited topic to make it clearer.
Funny, how the majority of PvE-Players have absolutely no clue about combo-fields and claiming themselves as good players. Good tips for beginners though.

Yeah, pretty much. They’d probably watch part of your video then stop at the first slightly incorrect fact, negating the opportunity to learn something new out of pure arrogance.
