Just did Cadecus Manor story mode on my elementalist a couple days ago and instantly remembered why I’d never been back after doing this one with my Guardian two months ago.

Is there any way to deal with all the knockbacks/fears in this dungeon? There is one room (with like 10+ saboteurs) that you spend the entire fight on the ground because every single mob is knocking you back over and over and over.

Then you finally regroup and get through them somehow and you run into the packs of dogs that fear you over and over and over.

Is there a trick to handling all this? Or is it just an annoyance to live through that makes it harder to find a group next time because it’s so annoying that nobody wants to do it?

I did this on my guardian, so your mileage may vary on the elemetnalist.

Stability is your friend. For the dogs, I brought “Stand your Ground!” “Save Yourselves!” and the stability consecration (forget the name offhand). Between these three, lots of area-effect blind, and passive condition removal, we were able to withstand the barrage of fears without issue.

I want to say that “Save Yourselves!” was replaced by Wall of Reflection for most other fights, but it has been a while, so my memory may be a little hazy.

Lacking a guardian, I don’t know a good way to do this, as I’ve never had to without a guardian in the group.

Thanks. We had 2 thieves, 2 elementalists and a warrior, so no Guardian.

And when I ran that dungeon with my Guardian a couple months back, I had no idea what I was doing apparently
