My guess would be is that it is much easier for guilds to run together now that there is no level requirement so there are less ppl looking for PuGs. I know in my guild I see ppl running them all the time now as you can preety much run with anyone.

A possible solution to voting people out of grp for buddies is to add an internal counter for each completed fractal in this instance and is checked before giving out daily loot or even before spawning Jade Maw’s chest.

Another would be to disable the function after first fractal is finished.

Best solution would be for all of community to not do this because it is incredibly anti-social.

Agreed. I am getting so much fail in my daily 10 now that I am about to just quit doing them. The group I just left wiped three times on the FIRST boss of Cliffside (I know they’re the same). The one where all you have to do is stay back and avoid red circles. Each time I was the last one standing and just died so they could all revive. When asked how many of the group were not actually level 10, two of them spoke up and said they had never done it before. That’s what 1-9 is for people. A third had done it before, but was really only level 3. I don’t get why these people are allowed in difficulties that they have not yet proven they can handle.

In a month when people are able to buy the ascended amulet and slap 5 AR into it your ability to PuG fractals 10 will return. Several of the bosses have 1 shot killshots with Agony, with AR they become quite easy.

The fractals should have still scaled but in brackets. 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc. I run with 4 regular and we used to grab a 5th if one of our other friends weren’t on. Now, there is no chance I will take a random pug because you just have no clue what they may be on or what their experience may be.

There’s this thing..it’s called asking..

ya they should have had it so you could party with anyone in the range of 0-9, 10-19, 20-29 etc or make it show everyones personal level

party up in fractal levels 12, 14, 16 and 18. The difficulty doesn’t change that much. The only level that people that never ran fractals dare to go on is level 10. Raise it by 2 and BAM suddenly you find all the people that all ran fractals on level 10 before.
Also ask people to link ascended gear. For at least 70 days people won’t have rings bought with laurels, so having rings stands as good proof that they have run fractals before. However keep in mind that some people are not new to fractals, but still are bad at it.
Also to the OP they get rewards by their personal level and not by the difficulty level they ran on, so if they were level 1, they won’t get almost anything.

Agony at level 10 aint that bad neither…

Pug is possible, but after 10 you really start noticing if you got a bad team.. Over the last two days i’ve gone from 0-17 in fractal lvl, and the 7 last levels have alot of times been a uphill battle, I’ve either been stuck working overtime as a guardian rez bot for people who can’t avoid the simple ground effect, or I’ve ended up halfway carrying a subpar group.

Then there are those wonderful times when you find a group that actually knows what theyr doing, and it makes you forget about all those horrible experiences in the past.

And while it has never happened to me, I definatly agree allowing 2 people to vote someone out is silly, it should be minimum 3, and like other said it should not be a option after 1 or 2 parts of the fractal has been completed.

I pugged 28 the day after the update…

mutch harder to find a GUUD fractal PUG group then ever before , becauze now EVERYBODY can join in lvl 10 :‘( … this to me is the worst ’’update’’ from the new patch . honestly , it was guud the way it was , knowing that your ’’team’’ has done FOTM enoughf to know what the bleeep they are doing ! since the patch i finished my daily lvl 10 only 2 times + left allllll the other ’’partyzz’’ becauze players just don’t know how to plaaaaay :o
PLZ Anet. change this back to just doin levels on YOUR level … you guyz even made it eazy’er to get even ascendand rings with the laurels :s witch i think is realy NOT cool.
the new ascendand gear with laurels ? .. YES , the rings ?…. NONONO.
fractal players off all levels alike will have no dignity left to say : eeey i’m lvl 30 , 40 , 50 , whatever …… all the ’’newcomers’’ will say : so what ? i can do your level 2 :s
basicly people you use to run PUG’s with on lvl 10 and up , you know they knew there fotm. , now? …. it’s anoying 100% to get your descent PUG .

The update has been enormously beneficial for guild groups but has made pick-up runs more difficult.

It shouldn’t take too long before groups start asking you to click rings to join; it’s a really easy sanity check to filter out people who have never done that tier before.

Tbh its just sloopy by anet, the logical thing to add after making such a change is a buff when you enter fractals, that sais what reward lvl you are.

That way you could kick out people who lied about theyr actual fractal level

I’m still pugging lvl 10 working on my rings and AR. Admittedly some pugs the worst gear and aren’t very good at there class so it makes for very time consuming runs. But sometimes I get in pretty pro groups.

Oh and agony at lvl 10 downs me from full health on jade maw unless I have cd’s up to mitigate it. I dont mind being downed due to agony. I dont think my team mates mind reviving me. I go down due to agony but they go down due to other parts of that event.
