Caudecus's Manor Dungeon Exp Too High?
i dont think its a little to high. Feels like its much too high. If rewards were based on effort in dungeons, it would be a lot easier to convince guildmates to do different runs.
At least it should be made so repeated runs give diminshed returns.
2nd run should give half the rewards, third 1/10th.

I agree witht he approach with this so long as there was a timer on the diminished returns. Clock should reset every 24-48 hours, as well as a diminished ‘floor’ if you’re running it for the purpose of badges vs. xp, but still get a little extra.
In my experince in both dungeons AC and CM so far, the boss skills need a slightly longer wind up to allow better reactions too. A number of them also ignore shields and dodges that are instant death attacks. As far as trash mobs go, your group really determines how difficult they are. Generaly if your party is too tanky or too glass cannon you will have a problem. Also people using knockbacks/fear instead of grouping enemies up to aoe damage need to be kicked from your team as they are causing the fights to last significantly longer (upto 3x longer in AC packs for example)
I think it’s fine to have easy-mode in a game.
Even in this thread there’s sooo much whining about how “hard” dungeons are – if you decreased rewards then people would continue to still never learn how to make them easy.

Its fine that there are hard and easy dungeons, but when the rewards are the same people will run the easy ones on repeat instead of shifting. This makes it a grind, which should be avoided. Whit lower rewards on easy dungeons´, more people would try to learn the harder and run them.
Scince the game is still new, lots of people wants to see all the content, but down the road, when people are leveling alts, we are going to see grind like repeats, and new players will have a very hard time getting to run the harder dungeons
Caudecus’s Manor is way too easy period, of course we die maybe once on the fist robot, but we can easily run that dungeon in 20-25 minutes, that about 3 levels every hour. Areanet’s philosophy is 90 minutes per level. I agree with zaksamba and zao comments, i think its a solution in the right direction. No one is running some of the other content because the ease and reward of CM has caused them to chill out doing multiple runs, not because it’s fun but because it’s easy and quick with a huge reward, lots of money and usually a level. I mean 2/3 of your experience, plus the experience from the mobs usually about a level for everyone.
I say leave it. Don’t ruin it for people who already have level 80s and want to level their alts.
Guild Wars 2 doesn’t force you to grind, but for those that do want to grind, let them.
