Caudecus's Manor Path 2 is Too Hard!
If your whole party is dieing to fight mechanics then chances are your doing it wrong. The old waypoint system promoted throwing more bodies at the issue and overcomeing it with sheer tenacity over good gameplay. Learn the fight mechanics. Learn what to dodge to avoid dieing. If need be change your utilities or use a different weapon setup. All the dungeon paths can be done without resorting to zergling tactics. Its also easier on the repair bill to do it right than to just zerg it anyway.
If it helps look at it in another light. In the old mario games if you failed at a jump and landed in a pit time and agian you had to start over from the begining of the level (or last checkpoint) you didn’t magically get teleported past the trouble spot to get to the reward at the end. Or more appropriately you didnt suddenly find the pit full of your past corpses so you could just walk over them to victory (wining through attrition) No you either learned to do it right or you didnt save your princess at the end of the castle. Its the same situation here. Dont expect to be rewarded for bad play nor expect them to nerf all the content to alow for said bad play.
Nah, it’s not hard.
Ele & thief main (full ascended)
Down with the braindead faceroll classes.
It’s not hard. Finding a decent pug group for CM is.
CM has ambushes so if you know the manor and know how to deal with ambushes it is fine. Otherwise it is not. I think there are still problems with the barrel fight. A lot of people think it’s ok because a strange solution exists on the internet, and everyone reads internet solutions rather than work out their own game, so it’s ok. Well the barrel stuff should work for a wider variety of solutions, reset properly, and not mess up when players try reasonable things like drop barrels in stealth.
Today’s “Gamers” Try something once, fail because no tactic whatsoever is being used, complain like a child on the forums, cry some more, w8 for the developers to nerf, play trough the completely nerfed “challenge” without any challenge at all.
I cannot understand those that complain about the barrel part…It’s stupidly easy and yet you find dozens of overly complicated tactics.
Is it so hard to have 1 person aggro to group by dropping his barrel, have the 4 others run and place their barrel correctly and while doing that have the one who dropped his keg pick up a new one and place it correctly ?
But I guess, the keg part is “hard” because some players can’t place a keg in a red circle…
I have run CM countless times, enough to complete 3 full sets of gear from it. Here are some tips.
Once you move outside, after getting the antidote is the part you seem to be referring to as being spawn camped.
Have 1 person go outside, pull the mobs directly on the left next to the building, everyone else wait in the courtyard, when the mob hits 30%ish health it will try and run, immobilize, slow down etc to kill before it pulls more. Rinse and repeat till you have cleared the first groups of NPCs.
The Wall you have to blow up, this is a easy way to do it. Pick up barrels, run to way point, place barrels at way point, about 10 of them. Create a closely spaced together trail from the way point to the location where you pick up barrels. As you near the house where you pick up the barrels, the NPCs will take off, they will go after the barrels and ignore you, occasionally 1 will attack your group. Once the NPCs take off, place barrels in the circle. Once the gate explodes, go in and to the right till the NPCs come back, kill them all and proceed.
Hope this helps. If you need help I will gladly run it with you pretty much any time I am on, still need a few more tokens.

Me: Stand in the red circles on the floor and Weapon Swap to drop the barrels.
Lvl 80: What is weapon swap?
barrels are hard in uncoordinated pug, (it took me and a half french half polish pug five times to try to put the barrels because people refused to speak English… but even we made it eventually) but very easy in people who communicate with each other, it is trivial if you have shadow refuge thief with you.
the last boss (necro) is obnoxious, mainly due his more than 1200 range AOE and his
‘mist form’ invulnerability phases
but basically this is an attrition fight, just jump around, dodge red circles and eventually his HP will reach zero.
(at least this is the tactics we used ^^ if there is a better one I would love to hear/read it)
what bugs me the most in CM is the insane amount of silver mobs that jump on you out of no where…
Nah, simply easy. But then players need to think condition removal and not dps… weird how many players just want to dps on every fight and never think.
And for those players who would say I don’t have any easy condition removal, may I remind you that some combos allow you to remove your own conditions without actually stacking condition removal utilities

The hardest part at the Bandit Scouts.
These mobs are a bit overpowered with their 25 Bleed and Poison. Not to mention that at low Health, they’ll run and aggro their buddies which can easily overwhelm you.
Do you even lift, bro?
