I just solo’ed Arah P2. Everything normal, until I got to Brie…

The moment I phase shifted and started burning her, the mobs spawned immediately. I left Brie to engage them and lost phase shift immediately. I haven’t solo’ed in a few weeks, so is this brand new from the patch today? Is this a rare bug? Literally solo’ed this path dozens of times and never had this happen.

I did p2 maybe 3/4 hours ago and it was the same as it was 1-2 weeks ago. Might’ve been changed before that but i’m not sure.

Was it before the patch today? I did p2 this morning but it was with a full party and Brie melted as usual, and I wasn’t really paying attention.

i solo’d arah p2 fine today, was before the patch of tonight though.

Mobs always spawn imediatly when you phase shift, once brie gets down to 50% they disappear. you may have lost your phase shift due to going out of the range before 50%?

Idk, I was on my friend’s account with no food, bad gear, and no bloodlust stacks so the fact that I couldn’t full burn her before the terminal was destroyed doesn’t surprise me, but I wasn’t even getting close. I’ve just never seen them spawn immediately and be attacking the terminal before I’ve even finished the first hundred blades.

Soloed her just now on second attempt to like 1% without stacks with a few errors in rotation, so it’s still possible to solo like before, it’s just without stacks there’s very little room for error like before and you still need to do clean rotations. With stacks, 100% possible with a few seconds to spare.

tip for mesmers: run shatter build and take portal. when the terminal is going to be destroyed, run to corner, spawn portal, get teleported and AVOID COMBAT, then wp to the waypoint at Belka and spawn portal. use terminal again and continue the fight

Why run shatter?

Phantasm (any minion) can’t do damage to Brie bc of the phaseshift mechanic, and mesmer regular attacks hit like a wet noodle. Shatter is the best option for that boss.
