I was doing HotW p1 and p2 earlier today and, while waiting to form a party and get into the dungeon, I was notified that HotW had finished downloading and that I would then be allowed to enter. Does this mean that Anet has changed something about this content? Why else would I have received this notification?

The only time I have actually seen that message is when trying to enter fotm on a toon that is dead.

You probably have streaming client on so it loads the patch bit by bit when you actually need it. Check your general settings tab for streaming client options, it should be at the bottom of the page.

I have streaming client off but it will try to download fractal stuff if i switch character or if i leave and try to reenter. No idea why it needs to download stuff we already have. :P

I just assumed its slightly faulty and you cant fully turn it off.

Same here.

I get this all the time. You can’t port to the dungeon when the normal window pops up if you’re in combat. Every time I get into combat when someone tries to open, then get out of combat, the downloading thing pops up and I can enter.
