This happened to my friend the other day. He was asked to pay the guild who he ran the dungeon with an amount of gold and when he didn’t they kicked him on the last boss.

This has been happening to players lately and I would love to see these players get banned.

It’s one thing if they have some arrangement before the dungeon starts but many players don’t know this until at the last boss.

Has Anet said anything about this?

If you joined the party at the last boss, then they are running you and you need to pay.

If you played the whole dungeon, you don’t have to pay anything. Take a screenshot and report them. You shouldn’t pay anything when you’ve been playing the whole dungeon run (unless of course, you agreed before).

Actualy, even if u joined on last boss only without knowing u need to pay anything and they ask you to pay when u joined them inside its scamming i think. Selling dungeons run is ok only IF you say that you are selling before you invite them in party.

You seriously think it’s ok to sell a dungeon spot to another player? The dungeons aren’t even that hard for the most part.

Selling dungeon spots is wrong either way you look at it.
At least, if they give you a head notice you won’t waste your time.

If they do it after you’re already in the group, it calls for a revenge in the form of reporting and at least a ban.

As stated before, selling dungeon spots its not against the rules. We ask you to exercise precaution however as people can use this to get the gold and kick the player or something similar. However if you think you might have been wronged please feel free to do a report.
