Okay I am going to try to avoid the over all topic of some sort of dungeon finding system and deal with what we currently have.

What we currently have is completely and totally inadequate. I regularly get suppressed in chat while looking for a group. If we’re going to be forced to be “social” and spam chat along with every other person out there using map chat like their own personal monolog platform can we please be able to keep up with them and spam chat more than 5 times every few minutes?

I mean I’m not even talking about being able to spam 10 times in a minute. I’m talking about something as simple as even once every 30 seconds.

Not sure if you know this, but if you exit the zone and come back, you should be unsuppressed. For example, if I am asking for people in Lion’s Arch to join my group and I get map suppressed, I usually run out to the zone south of there (Bloodtide Coast, I think?), send off a LFM message there, then go right back into Lion’s Arch.

But yes, there needs to be a better system for finding groups than what we have now.

agreed and the reason i rarely make groups these days… DO i want to log out/log in 2-3 times before filling up my group late night? No.

/second. This is ridiculous. It takes long enough to find a group that wants to do a story mission, I don’t need the game to be working against me finding a group.

+1 – Chat suppression is out of control, especially when we have no other modality for forming a group. While on topic, mail suppression is ridiculous too. I tried to send my nephew some gear last night and ended up having to send the last 3 pieces through another friend to send to him because I was suppressed after sending (I think it was) 2 mails. Both these mechanics need to be looked at.
