why does nobody do this dungeon?

The reason most people don’t do it is because it is long, considerably more difficult than say CoF or AC, the drop rates of charged lodestones suck big time, and you get less money and a higher repair bill than running other dungeons.

Crucible of Eternity is an awesome dungeon, the setting is very cool.

Myself, I’m a big fan of Path 2’s Subject Alpha fights. It seems really tough at first, but once you can dodge out of his AoE, it’s a very easy fight.

However, it’s a fight that keeps you in constant action, it’s very fun!

this has worked out for me as well (i generally use that site very often since i found out about a few weeks ago).

imho CoE is pretty cool dungeon, more so than others. also, i gets significantly easier once you know it a little better. with an experienced party, it’s a breeze, really. not as fast as the shorter dungeons, but not frustratingly difficult, either.

Most avoid this dungeon due to the level of coordination and skill needed to do the paths properly. Subject alpha, the dungeon’s main boss, will cause constant wipes against unprepared teams due to his massive aoe attack that he spams regularly. There are also other things, such as the security room filled with the mini detonating golems, which can be confusing to new players or an uncoordinated team. The dungeon is also fairly long in comparison to other dungeons. It’s best to run this one with trusted guildmates.

I think it’s CoE that the OP is talking about since it is rarely run in any server. As mentioned, you would have good luck finding a group running it on www.gw2lfg.com. I personally run this dungeon and I do agree that the setting is perfect and the weapons, they look epic. I think the best looking Dungeon weps so far. Plus, they are free! Woot.

again, i love this dungeon! and the pre-events aren’t even that hard if you get a group of 5 – 6 going. maybe even less for the final boss fight that opens up the doors.

that being said, there are a bunch of peeps looking to consistently run CoE. so if you can get in touch with them, you should have a better chance ; )))
